We regret placing our order with Pella Cincinnati, and hope that this review helps you to avoid our mistake. In September, 2021, we ordered a replacement front door and large arched window (73” x 75”) above it from Nikki M., with an estimated install date of January, 2022. Final measurements for the window was done from the top of a ~6’ ladder, for a window placed above the entry door in a two-story open foyer. Installation was pushed back to late February due to manufacturing delays. As that date approached, it was pushed again because the door had still not been received. From March - April, we called a week or so after each door delivery date had passed, only to receive a new, more delayed date. In May, we requested that the window be installed, given the door’s unending delays. This was scheduled for June, 2022. The crew arrived as scheduled, and removed the old window from our home. They then installed the new window, only to discover that it was not the correct dimensions. Tommie M., a Retail Installation Manager, was called out to the house to give us our options: accept the window which had a very different arch to it than all the other arched windows on the front of our house, or have them make a template from the old window they’d removed and manufacture a new one (likely with a similar manufacturing timeline.) Given how off the arch of the new window was (more than 4” gaps on either side of the arch) we elected to have the correct window manufactured. This seems to have annoyed the install crew, who shifted from carefully centering the new window to nailing it in and sealing up the holes with spray foam, insulation, and tape. Following this installation, I’ve contacted Pella on June 17, and July 15, and have been told that the template was sent to the factory for engineering confirmation, a prerequisite for placing the order, and that there’s nothing they can do to accelerate the process. Status update calls placed on July 1, 29, and August 8 have simply not been returned. We’re now over 11 months from the time we signed the purchase agreement, with neither component successfully installed. While we understand that COVID-19 has impacted manufacturing timelines, there’s little excuse for the lack of communication from Pella Cincinnati staff, the utter lack of urgency in correcting their errors, and the complete disregard for the fact that the front of our home looks like a contractor abandoned the job mid-install, which is effectively what Pella Cincinnati has done. Save yourself some frustration, and order your doors and windows elsewhere.

Great experience. I have 17 window openings (1 is a bay window and 2 are picture window with double hung windows on each side) adding up to 23 windows, and had them all replaced. I went with Pella ProLine windows because I wanted the natural wood on the inside of the windows, and wanted all the trim replaced to match. These are aluminum clad wood windows. Price was slightly better than competitors with good warranty and technical specifications for the product. Pella did all the stain/finish work in the factory (including the trim), where the competitors would have done stain/varnish work at a local shop. The installers were very good - professional, careful and clean. The bay window was a total replacement - the framing of the bay, roof structure etc. which they did without leaving a mess. No work for me to do when they left. The window and trim installation looks great - nice corners on the molding/trim. There were a couple of small warranty items (one of the window grids was the wrong size, and one window had a bit of sealant between the panes), but these were handled quickly and without difficulty. I get a statement from Duke Energy comparing my house to others for energy efficiency. The graph shows my house went from better than average, to best in class for summertime electricity use. I haven't gotten a winter month's gas statement, but I suspect it will also show lower usage. The windows won't pay for themselves for a very long time, but the house is more comfortable in the summer as well as the winter. I would definitely use Pella in Montgomery again.

Started off great, got the estimate i needed and called within a month to accept the contract and have the work done.
The sales guy who was great the first time, lost my estimate and then was almost a no show for the 2nd appointment. I ended up calling the manager who got the sales guy out to my house later in the day.
The 3rd appt was for measurements, went well, but this guy was 1/2 hour late. Asked his opinion on a front door...said he would have someone call me...no one followed up. Also, let me know that the salesman was no longer with the company.
Installation day, on time, but broke a piece of framing and and did a sloppy job of painting and filling nail holes. It was a friday, so no one was able to complete the work that day, as they did not have extra pieces on the truck. The guy doing the work explained that he will be back out on Monday to complete the framing and touch up paint. Monday came and went, no phone calls, no guy from Pella. By 3pm I left a message and the next day received a phone call from Pella saying someone will be out Wed. Guy came out, finished the framing and painted...looks great...until the evening when I noticed the nail holes did not get filled and the new paint just sunk in.
I realized then, I was done with these people. Filled nail holes and painted myself. I also expected Pella to have their own employees, the installation guys were all contractors, talking about all the other jobs they do. So basically a handyman installed my expensive window. I have nothing against handymen, i just would prefer to use my own guy if that was the case.

Pella did a fantastic job on the re-windowing of my house. They were extremely prompt on every call, cleaned up everything, and left my house with a fantastic set of beautiful windows. Best of all, they aren't cheap vinyl or pocket refits. These are whole new windows frame to frame with very thin sashes/rails to let in the maximum amount of light. Great job! Amy Whisenhunt, our sales rep, is great and very thorough. She even followed up on additional items for some of our older Pella windows!

The installation required three separate visits - first to quote, then to measure, then to install. All of the representatives were very courteous and professional, and arrived promptly.
Prior to the installation, there was some necessary rework to correct the measurements, but it was all handled smoothly and with no cost to me.
For the installation, I had removed all the fixtures around the work area prior to the installation team arriving. The existing trim was pulled back to expose the existing window unit, which was then completely removed from the bay. The new unit was then installed into the existing trim, which was reset and caulked. Finally, the work area cleaned up, and the lead installer reviewed the work with me.
Overall I was very pleased with the service provided. I have marked the company down to B on price, simply because the product is quite expensive.

They were good. They completed the job in 2 1/2 days. The cost was reasonable. They sent out four guys for job. They were good, but they did make one mistake on one of the windows. They put a screw hole on the side of a pane on one of the windows. They are going to be replacing this. They had to order the piece.

Overall it was very good. The work was done when it was supposed to be done and it was done well. Each door is manufactured for the specific installation. We had some specialty work to be done and the installers took extra care on that. There were no surprise costs. We might hesitate to use them in the future due to the cost, not the service. We also had a service call six months later and they came out on time and fixed it. There were three parts to the transaction with Pella: 1. A visit their showroom first. 2. An appointment with the salesperson who spoke with us about our options. 3.The installation.
