They painted my neighbor's home, and first of all, it's clear to see that they did a wonderful job, and that they completed the work very quickly. Because our houses are so close together, there were some paint chips that got into my side plant area on the side they had to work on....SO...in order to clean up the paint chips in my bed, they had to remove the mulch to get it all (which I appreciate).  They offered to re-mulch my flower bed.  And sure enough, they came back to MY house within a few days and put mulch down at my house.  They covered the part they had to remove and then some...
I am so impressed with their willingness to make sure my property was not affected by the painting...and to make sure they cleaned up with excellence.
I would recommend them to anyone even though I didn't even have any work done!!!!

Cleaned up property upon completion of job. Stopped by a day later to do a second check to assure there were no areas undone. Protected valuable plants and shurbry during job.

He called back the evening I left a message and scheduled time for an estimate the next day.  He was thorough in looking at my needs and assessing the total work.  He provided me detailed estimates and showed me proof of insurance and worker's comp.  It is my first estimate so I don't know if I will proceed with him or not.  But from a non-price perspective I was impressed.  I don't know yet whether the price is competitive or not.

I have now had a second estimate and D & S pricing is higher. I think their quality may be better but the price difference may stop me. Decision not final yet

It was excellent. I've used them twice. They did it fast. They did the first job in 5 days. They were very good. If you want them in the summer, you better call 6 months ahead of time because they are very popular.

Owner came to my home to give an estimate.  He never sent the estimate and never responded to repeated attempts in calling him.

We had Steve out last fall to give us an estimate. Due to the weather, they were unable to do the work at that time. He called first thing this Spring to schedule the job. They pressure washed the house and deck then painted everything. Steve has a large crew, so they were able to work well together and complete the painting in just 3 days. It looks great, and they even pointed a few things (chimney flashing/tuckpointing, wood trim rot) out to us that we should have repaired.

Steve Vice is very professional and knows what he is doing. He came very highly recommended by a building professional. Steve will spend time answering questions, explaining existing conditions and to make sure that the customer is aware of possible issues (like the effect of cooking/steam/food prep on a kitchen wall painted deep aubergine). At the final inspection of the work Steve was very responsive to concerns and issues and ended up taking $300 off the inital quote. Steve had a window of time and was able to start the job almost immediately. After seeing the results, the job size was double by adding in the living room, hall, and half bath. The walls looked great, the deep colors turned out beautifully (three coats) and I was extremely pleased. The issue: Doubling the size of the job apparently did not leave sufficient time for proper cleanup. There were a half dozen paint spots left on the floor, carpet, and a blanket that had been on the couch. There was also a paint spill in the dining room (red paint) that was not thoroughly cleaned up. In the end I was happy with the results and the way Steve handled the issue. I would chose D&S again. However I would be better at paying attention while the work was going on and insisting up front on making sure there was adequate time for cleanup.

They did a really wonderful job, transforming an area that looked old and not clean to a fresh attractive area. They cleaned up very well, moved and replaced my furniture carefully, and were good about communicating with me throughout the job.

I LEFT A VOICEMAIL WITH THIS COMPANY EXPLAINING THAT I WAS INTERESTED IN HAVING THE EXTERIOR OF MY HOUSE PAINTED. I LEFT SEVERAL PHONE NUMBERS FOR THEM TO CALL ME BACK AND GAVE THEM THE ADDRESS OF THE HOUSE. THIS WAS A MONTH AGO AND I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THEM.

VERY RELIABLE, COMMUNICATED WELL, CAME EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, FINISHED QUICKLY, PAID ATTENTION TO DETAIL. WHEN A FEW AREAS WERE NOT DONE AS WELL AS I WISHED, THEY IMMEDIATELY RE-DID THEM TO MY SATISFACTION.

THEY MATCHED A COMPETITIVE PRICE. I THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB. WE SET A DATE AND THEY CAME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SET DATE (CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF RAIN WE HAD). SINCE WE WERE GOING TO MOVE, THEY EVEN DISPOSED OF THE EXTRA PAINT CANS.
