Mr. Lowe had committed to start work to make repairs on a condominium that we need to put up for sale. He committed on Friday to start work the following Monday. He then sent me an email Sunday night to tell me he no longer had the time or willingness to do the work, and that he has larger projects demanding his time. His last minute withdrawal creates serious problems for me, since I must travel to Toledo to meet with prospective contractors, and his withdrawal will require me to travel in again to obtain bids and, likely, delay our ability to place the condominium on the market in time to catch the best part of the selling season. I gave Mr. Lowe an opportunity to "make good" on his commitment, but he never replied. I strongly recommend that everyone avoid this contractor.
