"We recommend to replace the oil pan gasket but the customer was not agreeable to the quoted price. So we did tighten the oil pan and the engine mounts that were also lose. We told the customer to expect continued seaping."
When I went to use it for the first time, the chute control wasn't working so I had to call them to ask for that part to be serviced. They tried to repair it at the house, but were unable to do so. Unfortunately, they had to take it with them during one of the biggest snow storms of the year.
When I got it back again, it just wasn't running right. It would backfire and run as if the carburetor needed cleaned. It wouldn't maintain and even flow of the motor - it was always and up and down - no matter how much you adjust the choke, it still wouldn't run right.
I know they were out to the house at least twice after the service. I don't remember all of the details because I just assumed all would be good and there was no reason to "take notes" on the experience.
When I called them today to let them know how frustrated I was with the service. Giving them the opportunity to make things right, I was told, "We can't please everyone." and "I will take what you said in to consideration." Then I was hung up on.
Not only did I receive bad repair service for my $125, I received bad customer service when I gave them the opportunity to make things right.
"we responded to [Member Name Removed],when the chute was frozen up do to slush and very cold weather,we repaired on the spot, then [Member Name Removed] kept the snow blower in the outside garage at 20 degrees, and the chute had frozen again this time somebody used excessive force thus breaking the chute,we repaired at no charge and returned,"
Very pleased with the service and repairs to the mower... All works very well.
