I called on March 28th to ask for my mower to go in for a new belt and oil change. It was picked up on the 31st and not returned until April 17th. Cost was over $300. They put on new blades without authorization and charged me for them. I mowed the yard one time when I got the mower back and belt fell off three times. I called to have it picked back up as clearly the wrong belt was on. Mower wasn't picked up until April 26th. On May 1st I called to check (as no one had followed up) and they said I owed $132 for a new belt. They put in a 1/2in shorter belt. I asked why I would pay when they out the wrong one on to begin with. The man told me I was rude and hung up on me. My husband called and paid the $132. Mower still hasn't been brought back. Total scam/rip off. True Value only values scamming you out of money and does not stand by their work.
