Shawn returned my voicemail promptly, discussed the issue I was having with my riding mower over the phone, and I scheduled him to come and replace the head gasket the following week. He arrived on time, had everything he needed to get the job done, and even sharpened my blades before wrapping up within an hour. My mower is running good as new again. I will definitely use Scott's Repair Service for any future needs.

Lawnmower hero! Saved my Craftsman Rider Mower from the scrap yard for a few more years. Over 15 yrs old it stopped moving last fall. Mr. Scott arrived on my doorstep and found the problem right away, a half melted off pulley so the belt was just sliding around. He replaced the pulley with a new one he brought and hooked up the 2 belts i bought. My blades were warped and gouged out and he replaced those with ones he had on hand. Changed the oil, oil filter and fuel filter and plugged the flat tire that had a shiny nail in it for 3 years. This guy is efficient, professional and prices for the "stuff" was very reasonable.

Shawn Scott did a wonderful job! I needed someone to come to my house to do work on a riding mower. My husband had a stroke last year, and was unable to put on the new blade on the riding mower or put on the new tires on the push mower. Finding a service such as Scott's Repair Service to come to your house, was a blessing. He also does repair work on major appliances and heating and cooling. I am keeping his card close to me and telling everyone to contact him.

Perfect- he was friendly, quick and it was obvious he knew what he was doing . I offered the manuals but he didn't need them. He was done in like 40 minutes tops. I would absolutely use him for mower or any small engine repair and maintenance. Update: Because of no snow the previous year, I never got to use the machinces, even once. I finally did a week ago for the first snow in December 2017. The machines started and functioned right way. Scott's a pro's pro.

Came to the house so we did not have to pay for some one to haul it for us. He was available right away instead of it setting on some ones work list for 2 weeks. Very polite and helpful, brought all his own tools.

The work was done quickly and professionally. I was pleased with their knowledge of my mower and the information they provided me as well as the service. I thought it was a bit over priced. But, it was nice not having drop our mower of somewhere and wait for it to be done.

Outstanding; Scott was punctual, diagnosed the trouble quickly and made necessary repairs .Now everyone is happy including my cardiologist. Scott is very personnable, easy to talk with and laid back. Appreciate his efforts. Know who to call for future work. Oh and the price was very reasonable.

He does an oil change and sharpens the blades. It is nice that he comes to the house so I don't have to pay to have the machine hauled somewhere else.

It was an excellent service, He is friendly, cleans up and will advise if anything is wrong. He is very thorough. I would recommend him to anyone. He comes to your house to complete the job right in the driveway or your garage.

He was a very nice guy. In fact he came early! The great thing is he came out to the house so I didn't have to bring the mower to him.

Scott came to my home and had my old push mower running and put a new belt on my riding mower , sharpened the blades of both and had them running perfectly in less than 1 hour. He charges $95 for the house call and 1 hour work plus parts, very reasonable I feel.

He got it stared and sharpened the mower blades as well.

Fantastic!! He had some time in between appointments so he popped over and had me up and running in minutes!

Couldn't have gone smoother. I called Shawn Scott and he answered right away. He was extremely kind and professional. I caught him on his cell while he was driving and he pulled over to finish the call. He came the next day about 10 minutes early and had one snow blower running within about 10 minutes. The second one was re-assembled and running in about 20 minutes. He let both run for awhile and tested both on the sidewalk in the snow. Both worked great. Shawn is a pro - he knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with. He let both units cool down and then showed me the proper way to start them and even left me some premixed gas for both blowers. Then he told me what to do in the Spring to store them properly. The fact that he comes to your house is a huge plus too. Don't waste your time hauling your equipment into the shop then waiting a few days and going back to pick it up. He backed up to the garage opened the door and went to work. 45 minutes - he's done. He works by the hour and fixes many types of equipment. I will definitely use him again and would have no hesitation whatsoever with recommending him to anyone. Incredibly efficient and proficient. He had both blowers rocking for only $90 total. Call the guy!

It went very well. Shawn Scott came equipped. He fixed the riding mower, gave it tune-up, and replaced filter and I believe he replaced the spark plug. He also fixed 2 push mowers that I had planned to give away or trash. I also have a newer John Deere Pressure Washer that I could not get started. I had taken the PW to a local place that repairs and sales pressure washers. They removed the PW from the truck, hooked up the water and said that they could not get it to start. But to me, the two guys just didn't seem right. They told me that they would need to keep it and it would cost me $180 for them to look at it and they cannot guarantee it would start and may it may need trashed. The PW is only 3 years old and was only used twice! I politely asked them to load it back on my truck and got out of there fast. Well, Shawn looked at the pressure washer and immediately knew what the problem was. He poured some stuff in the gas tank and a little later that PW started right up! Total cost for all the repairs $230. What I liked about Shawn is that I had a lot of lawn/house equipment that needed tuned up. At the beginning of another hourly rate, Shawn would politely remind me. I really appreciated that because I knew how much I wanted to spend but he didn't. THANK YOU SHAWN. I had my service completed Aug 2015 and was looking up Shawn's number today, July 2016 for a service call for my riding mower and my gas back pack leaf blower and realized I had not given his company a review. I also would like to say tha he cleaned up any oil that may have splattered on my garage floor and his truck was equipped with a lift to fix the riding mower. Easy to talk and felt comfortable around him.
