Your Choice Hardwood Flooring

The whole project could not have gone better. The owner (Jamie Moore) was prompt on every occasion. Their estimate was significantly less than the most expensive. The cost of the materials went up quite a bit between when the estimate was given and when the job was done, but that was out of his control. Jamie worked hard to find less expensive material, but in the end said he would not compromise quality to cut costs, so we agreed to pay the upcharge. The herringbone floor adjoined an existing hardwood floor, so they had to figure out the transition as well as match the stain (which they did to perfection). They also discovered that the room was not square (surprise, surprise) so they had to figure out how to handle that. They started exactly when they said they would. They installed the floor, sanded it, stained it and put on three coats of polyurethane in seven working days. They also put a top coat of polyurethane on the adjacent floor so that the entire large space looks seamless. Jamie and his crew are exacting professionals who took great care and interest in doing this project and they did an outstanding job. I would hire them again in a second. When you find craftsmen of this quality who can adhere to a schedule, you keep their number on file.

Everything went really well.  They were very prompt, they listened to what I wanted, and the crew did a great job.  In fact, the entire process went very smoothly from start to finish, and I didn't have to do much at all.

It has been 7 years since Choice did work on my old house that I moved from 4 years ago, but they did a nice job.

The price was very competitive and we agreed on a week for completion. They were very helpful in answering our questions, did a professional job and our floors look great. I would recommend them to anyone looking to refinish floors.

This is a family run company who handles their business professionally, but with a personal touch.  They did top notch work from start to finish.    We needed to have the floors refinished to prepare our parents home for sale.  They gave us a fair price and were flexible and willing to work with me by sending estimates and contracts via email since I live in another state.   They did a wonderful job on the floors, finished the job on schedule, and even helped us with a couple items that were outside the scope of the original job description.  I would recommend them to anyone looking to work with a professional and kind group of people, who take pride in doing a good job.

Overall, they did a good job with the adjustments.  However, there were errors that weren't corrected to my satisfaction, but I chose not to make an issue out of it due to other situations going on at that time.  Furthermore, the expectations I had for the corrections weren't unrealistic.  It must be noted that the owners of the company seemed competent and really wanted to do a good job, but the installers weren't fulfilling the owners' expectations.

Everything went well, and they finished right on time, which was important since we were boarding our animals. Before David replaced the stair step, he gave me 3 different options to match the mixture of steps, and the prices. Our bill was exactly as quoted, there were no surprises.

They did an impeccable job! They gave the right attention to detail, always arrived on time, didn't wonder through my house, etc. This was not an easy job either -- installing picture frame pattern of a hardwood floor, and matching both the style and the color to other rooms more than 75 years old. Highly recommended!
