PDQ Doors

A great experience from beginning to the end for our first time purchasing a new garage door. Everyone says they love the appearance of our garage door now, and we are thrilled with our new door overall. Not only was PDQ easy to work with but they were considerate enough to tell us how to care for our new door for maximum performance and longevity. Highly recommend PDQ!

Everything done as promised. I switched from AE Door because PDQ offered the unit and price that worked for me. AE gave me a hard sell on a unit I did not want or need. PDQ had an excellent website that allowed me to do some research prior to ordering. All good.

Quick. He replaced 20 rollers and 4 pullies in less than 30 minutes.

Crew was pleasant and professional.

They removed two old very heavy garage doors and rails. Completely replaced and installed two openers. The doors are great and openers are quiet plus wifi. Took old doors and rails away when they left and left the job just as clean as when they arrived.

(This is a copy of a review I shared w/"Nextdoor" because I was so impressed w/PDQ.) Hi, Neighbors. I typically don’t write reviews but this garage door install experience was exceptional so may be helpful to folks looking to replace their doors. I’ve detailed which model was chosen and the people who worked with me because they specifically were part of this positive experience (can’t vouch for anyone else). I have no personal connection w/the company other than becoming a customer … and now, a fan). After much research, I went w/PDQ’s CHI Doors (#2216 insulated). Met the “no pressure” rep at a home show, & an estimate appointment was set within days. Appointment was also confirmed by an email reminder. Rep Rob Morrison was prompt, professional & proficient, explaining features and benefits of the various options. PDQ accommodated my request not to install doors till my roof was done, which due to weather, COVID-19 & roof vendor issues ended up being delayed over 4 months. The inside rep (Mark) was always pleasant & understanding each time he checked in about the roof progress, never pressuring me about the delay though my doors were no doubt taking up inventory space. Once I was finally ready, the owner/general manager Casey McCreadie patiently clarified some questions I had, allowed me to conveniently pay the balance by credit card over the phone, & arranged the install appointment within a week. Today’s install by Jim Stuntebeck was flawless. He, too, was prompt, personality+, and very skilled, especially at correcting “builder issues” (not perfect framing) to make sure the doors operated smoothly - & was so refreshing to see someone have such a great attitude about doing a job properly, & w/a smile on his face. He was also took time to show me how to maintain them, and was non judgmental at how giddy I became at having smooth, quietly running doors for the first time since home was purchased w/builder grade, uninsulated, noisy doors. And, a completion confirmation was emailed literally moments after service was completed. From beginning to end, there really is nothing I can think of to improve this experience. PDQ truly deserves an A+ rating for my garage door install. I feel confident that future product and service quality will continue to match what was experienced to date.

I called PDQ for my parents. They were able to schedule service for the very next morning. My mom reported that the technician was very courteous and took the time necessary to ensure the door was restored to good working order.

PDQ installed my door eight years ago. Yesterday my coil spings broke. I called and they were here less than 24 hrs later. Took them 45 min to replace the coil springs and my door is working fine. I think they are a great local company, their staff know what they are doing; they are punctual and professional. I will keep using them for future garage door repairs and maintenance.

Casey installed our garage doors and he did an amazing job! He explained in detail the installation process and how everything works and answered all of our questions to make sure that we knew everything that was going on!
