Although we were in the middle of the COVID-19 'shelter in place' order, Anatole came out and deemed this work "essential". He gave us a reasonable estimate, provided safe ground rules for us and his crew and they came within days to get the work done. Once here, the crew was extremely professional and extracted the tree with surgical precision. Nothing else in my yard was disturbed---not the flower beds, the plants or even the mulch! They were cleaning up by noon and after they left, you'd never know anything had been done. We're extremely grateful for the work they did and I highly recommend this company. Make sure you call Out on a Limb FAMILY Tree and Landscape! Not the other company with a similar name!

Great experience. I was very worried about choosing a company, due to the potential safety issues with a tree so large, but I chose well. Anatole and his team did a great job. They not only performed the work safely, but also efficiently and as requested.

A tree on my neighbor's property was slowing falling in the direction of my house due to drainage issues in their yard. They called Out on a Limb for an estimate and collaborated with us to get the tree removed. The company knew that high winds were called for the next day so they said that they would there first thing the next morning to get the tree down before the wind took it completely down. The crew arrived as scheduled and the job they did was amazing. They were able to pull their boom truck into my driveway to quickly and strategically dismantle this 50+ foot tree while avoiding my house and power lines. They cut up the trunk sections in manageable sizes and left them on my neighbor's property per his request and the smaller branches were immediately chipped. The crew did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete. Although I cannot comment on the cost as it was my neighbor's responsibility, I am sure that it was reasonable and I would highly recommend Out on a Limb for their service.

Overall a great experience - so pleased with it that I've already recommended Out on a Limb to family members. I had two dead trees in my backyard I needed removed ASAP - it was a tight area and the trees were on a retaining wall. I needed a company to climb and not rely on heavy equipment. I put in an inquiry with Out on a Limb on a Friday afternoon and Anatole called me back the following Monday afternoon. He came out to see the job then emailed me a proposal (along with proof of liability and workers comp insurances) the very next day. When I initially scheduled him to come out for a quote, he told me they were 3 weeks out. But when I called him to schedule after accepting his proposal, he thought they would be able to work me in sooner since it was such a small job - no promises, of course. They ended up sending someone out 3 days after I accepted the proposal! They provided exactly what I wanted - climbed, cut the trees, and carefully lowered and consolidated cut wood to avoid damaging surrounding areas. The job was done very well at a very reasonable price. Anatole was easy to deal with, patient with all my questions, and professional. I know that when I need more tree work done I will call Out on a Limb first.

One ash near the house was surrounded by gardens.  There and everywhere each chunk of the tree was lowered to the ground with ropes.  Except for one employee who tromped through the gardens and on plants without a thought, the other five of the crew were very careful and little damage was done.  Very good quality and respect for my concerns.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Didn't recommend us doing anything more than needed and was honest about the effectiveness of treating trees. Found ways for us to save money by leaving the wood and blowing the chips into our woods. Left the area very clean. Was a lot of work and got it all done quickly and professionally. Will use again.

Great job by all. Professional work and cleaned up after themselves. Fun to watch, as they climbed the trees, as opposed to using a lift. (Our tree is very big)! They didn't try to upsell us on injections for the trees, or any other work. We will definitely use them again.

did lots of trimming

arrived on time as scheduled. they did a beautiful. made suggestions for best method of trimming and which trees were healthy etc. Seemed very knowledgeable and very professional. No pressure attempts to up-sell as I have experienced with another company who works in my area. My trees are doing beautifully this summer.

The only problem with this job was MY problem because my back yard is doggoned near inaccessible due to the lot lines. But the guys took it slow and easy, never strayed onto my neighbors' yards at all and got to the dead/dying trees and took care of the problem very nicely!

Went very well. I just think tree people really charge a premium for their time.

They were on time and did the work as promised. They were a little rough on some nearby evergreens - these evergreen did get some damage from falling limbs.

We opted to have cut wood left for firewood and they gave us a discount because of this. Great Job.

I called them and was hoping that they would be able to get the work done before I left on a trip, but they could not, because of to many emergency calls. They called me on my cell phone, when I was still gone, and asked if I still wanted the work done. I said yes and he got all the work done and was gone by the time I came home.

I have used them in the past and they are great. I liked the estimate but I can not get them to come back and perform the work.

Although we were on Out On A Limb's job list for some time, our job was not an emergency, and timing wasn't critical for us. But when these guys got to us, did they ever work! Everything was done safely, professionally, and with no wasted motion. We especially enjoyed the courteous behavior of the whole work crew. We recommend their pruning and thinning work, as it was done carefully and conservatively. Our precious old trees were pruned away from our house and will be for many years, but they don't look like victims of an Ohio chain saw massacre. We've recommended Out On A Limb to our friends.

Gave us some instruction on how to take care of the other trees. They did the best job, cleaned up excellent. I would say they went above and beyond what they needed to do. Everyone was very professional.
