There were a LOT of leaves accumulated on our lawn & it didn’t seem like an easy job—but the workers got them well cleared out & made our lawn look SO nice! The price can’t be beat.

Awful experience from start to finish including the crushed downspouts under my new pavers that ruined my finished basement. But before that, they also lied upon receiving different type of pavers than originally contracted. Did work in 4 days that took Gilb landscaping a week and a half to fix their mess. Flooded my basement and ruined my life for about 5 months. The one thing they did well was their insurance company was good to work with for the damages that my home incurred at the expense of this hack job landscaping outfit. #FACTS.

We hired LTD Landscapes to mow our lawn while we were out of town on vacation. When we arrived home, we could see from down the street that our lawn was now brown. As we pulled in to the driveway, it got worse. I could see gauge marks in the grass from where the lawnmower blades cut the grass down to the nub. Long lengths of dead grass clippings, all over 3 inches long, covered the dying, brown grass. Around one tree, no mowing had been done AT ALL so the length of grass there was about 5 inches long, while close by the grass had been cut down to 0 inches (dirt/roots). For the past 5 years I have had my lawn treated year-round by a fertilizing company, and this past spring and early summer I had worked hard to keep my lawn long, healthy and green. I was very proud of my lawn. It was the greenest it had ever been in my 15 years living on this property. I make sure I only cut less than a third of the length of the grass at a time, to avoid burning. I was hesitant to have my lawn mowed by someone else, but I figured a "professional" lawn care specialist would at least know how NOT to kill a perfectly green lawn. I was wrong. The lawn looked like it had been raped! My previously healthy, green lawn now looked like a dried up corporate field at the end of August's heat. I called LTD's phone number and left a couple of detailed messages, with a request to call me back. That was Saturday, it is now Tuesday and there's been no return phone call. I called again this morning, only to talk to a part-time secretary who acknowledged that my phone messages were received. She promised me that "Dave" would call me back asap. Well, it is now the end of the business day and I still have not heard back. In my experience it is considered very unprofessional not to call a customer/client back within 24 hours. Obviously Dave does not care about calling his customers back, much less the terrible hack job his company did to my lawn. I realize that Dave may be busy, he's got a company to run. But at the same time, he's aware of an obviously dissatisfied customer, and he's choosing to ignore the problem. I'm not looking for a miracle here, I know Dave can't make my dead grass grow back. But I'm at least looking for an explanation...How come my grass is slashed and mowed down to the nub in spots, as if the mower blade was crooked? How come my lawn looks like someone mowed it in about 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon while drinking Kentucky bourbon and smoking pot? Ridiculous! My 8 year old daughter could have done a better job. And to add insult to injury, the owner of LTD will not even call me back. I would not recommend this company to anyone, unless they need to hire someone to kill their lawn. Thanks LTD Landscaping!

-  had to work around some rain and cold weather.
-  responded to my questions and my requests.
-  work crew was friendly and professional.  
-  on their own didn't like paver patterns around the walls and made adjustment without me requesting it.

The work went as planned. There were many meetings and discussions as part of the planning. The meetings evolved the designed better that I could have imagined. The work was done a bit ahead of schedule. The workers were very polite and considerate as to the area and as to the noisy equipment. The results were excellent with the patio being a delight. It is like moving into a new home. The landscaping went well with design aspects that supplement and enhance the patio. A separate company created a new deck and LTD worked in cooperation with the deck company as if they were one team. Could not be more delighted with entire project.

I was overall happy with their service. Mulching and landscaping was A+. The lawn mowing was less than average because they tried to get the work done too quickly.

I decided not to go with them again this year because one of their key employees left. He was the only one who knew how to prune shrubs and trees correctly. He didn't try to use power trimmers, he took the time to do hand-pruning for variation and texture so that everything had a natural look.

They also increased prices from last year and their prices were already a little high before. That wasn't the key reason that I decided to stop using them, though.

They were here to wrap up their job up on the pavers that they did about a month ago.  The work was mostly finished in October.  They did a lot of things for me.  I got a good impression from their designer, Dave.  He has a good insight on how to make it look good.  It is somewhat hard to visualize it.  He would come out, look at it, and instruct the workers.  That was always impressive.  Something’s they were great with something’s they were not.  They still were better than average.  They would tell me that they would be here the next week and they would show up only after three weeks.  They did get it done eventually.

LTD  was very responsive to our initial request.  Joan made an appointment for Dave who came to our property and provided a detailed estilmate very quickly.  We hired them to do our lawn work and they started immediately as requested.  They are professional, responsive, careful, and punctual. 

We have been very impressed with their overall service and the experiences dealing with Joan, Dave, John, and Vic. 

A lot of extra work but Mike got the job done at your super price

I was supposed to get one price but they added up at the end. There was a misunderstanding about what they were putting where. There was dead tree which had to be removed; I got it removed from someone else. The workers of Ltd Landscapes Inc were great. They did a great job. I have no complains with them. It was not a mess. We thought we are getting one thing; probably there was no good communication or few misunderstanding about what we were going to get and where it was going, because we had done some changes. I would like to recommend that you really have to communicate with them, what you want and make sure that they write it all down. They do a good job and the man who came was a good person. I was satisfied with them. I would use them in future.

We have a good-sized yard and NO natural inclination to do yardwork. That a said, our lawn/garden areas were a wreck. We finally admitted that we weren't going to be able to do the job ourselves and decided to bite the bullet and bring in a professional. Another family in our neighborhood uses LTD, so we were lucky enough to be able to talk with them about their experience with the company before we made our decision. I initially contacted LTD on a Saturday, and was surprised not to hear from them until Monday morning. However, once we got the communication going, they were very responsive. We initially walked through the property to talk about our needs and to get some suggestions about how to proceed. I was very pleased with that experience and found that we were on the same page. We didn't get a hard sell and they clearly knew what they were doing. They returned that to take photos and additional notes, and agreed to get us a quote within a day or two. We received the quote by mail. Although it came in a timely fashion, if I had realized that they had planned to mail the quote, I would have made a point to ask them to fax it. Since we had quite a bit of work to do, it took a few days to get started. At one point I was feeling a little concerned that we hadn't seen real progress (honestly, very little time had passed, but we were eager), and they made a point to come out that day to mow and to give us a definite schedule for big work. The rest of the job was completed in just a few days. They were professional, polite, happy to answer questions. We have contracted with LTD to do regular lawn maintainance and have talked with them about doing some redesign (water feature/koi pond; deck modifications) in the future. We have been pleased so far. They are a little pricey, but at this point (having had a previous scam encounter with a fly-by-night) we are willing to pay for the security of an experienced company with a community presence, history, reputation.

They are professional and get things done on time. Their prices are reasonable and they are very knowledgeable.

It was a pretty extensive job. They came back 1 year after doing the job, to fix some things before the 1 year guarantee was up. Mona was the person we worked with, and we really liked her.

I was impressed with his working knowledge of what design would best fit our home (and budget I might add) and what plants would look good in our area. We met with him on several occasions. I found him very accommodating as we worked through the details. I might add that we had many many questions since this was out first effort on this size project, and he was always quick to give us answers no matter how basic and simple our questions might be. His work crew did very good work. They were thorough and didn't take any short cuts. The entire project took about four weeks. David, and his brother, came out several times to review the work and make any appropriate adjustments. We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend LTD for any similar project. They are good people who do very good work.

Three men showed up the first time. Even though I did not talk to them, they did a very nice job. They mulched the grass so that I would not have to rake it and trimmed everything nicely. Only one man came thereafter and quickly mowed and blew off grass. If any trimming was done, it was not noticeable. We are continuing to be charged the $38.00 instead of the $35.00 he mentioned.
