We returned from a family vacation to find that our hot water heater had busted and our finished basement, including our new carpet and padding, had flooded. We made a phone call and the next day the crew was at our home pulling up carpet and setting several high powered fans to dry everything up. We made it a point to try and salvage the carpet and they were able to do so.
The whole process took 3-4 days plus an extra day to clean the carpets once they were laid down with new padding. You'd never know the basement flooded and the carpet looks good as new.
I have no knocks at all. It is important to note that they charge per fan per day, so if you were paying for their services out of pocket instead of through insurance keep that in mind. Otherwise it was as painless a process as possible.
