When I picked up the car, I received a suggested repairs list based on their unsolicited examination of the car. The cost estimate for the repairs was approximately $1,000. The manager asked if I would like to schedule the repairs. I told him that I needed time to review the list and then decide. I was uncomfortable with items on the list having been categorized as needing repair. I then took the Midas list to the garage I frequent. I asked them to tell me to what extent the list was valid. The bill for the assessment by my garage was approximately $100. The results were that all but one of the items did not, in their opinion require any repair. The one item that was a slight anomaly was two rubber boots that appeared to have been intentionally cut. I need to say that, there is a possibility that the tears existed prior to Midas' examination. Nothing, including the tears, were seen as requiring attention. I always heard that Midas tries to use a cheap oil change to get you in for an "up-sale"... However, based on my experience, I would not recommend this store.

Midas conducted an overall inspection of the car before proceeding with the scheduled service requested. Midas is very efficient and thorough. The oil change was completed, but Midas provided recommendation on services needed now and future. Midas does an outstanding job.

The went for overall service, oil change. They recommended to change the front and back brakes. Appointment was scheduled and they were on time. They replaced the front brakes. Great service.

My 1999 Mazda had a rusted metal piece fall off so I brought the car in to be checked out. Although the exhaust system checked out okay they discovered a problem with the axle shaft. The repair was quickly and professionally completed.

I don’t go to them anymore because they gave me some bad information. He basically told me that I needed brakes and that I would need to replace my rotors even though there was no wear on the rotors. He was basically saying that you have to change your rotors when you change your brakes and that is a lie. He was trying to get more money from me because he perceived me to be an uninformed consumer.
