Description of Work: Remodel first floor living room, front hall, kitchen, rear hall, and family room. Walls in living room, halls and kitchen were repaired - owner had removed wall paper which caused extensive damage. Also, there were many nail pops to repair. Prep walls above. Caulk all baseboards and trim. Skim coat and sand where needed. Remove existing frame and doors at kitchen. Remove paneling and trim from family room walls. Install new quarter inch dry wall and crown moldings in family room, and tape and finish. Apply one coat of ceiling white paint in above rooms and halls. Apply latex paint to walls in above rooms and halls. Assisted home owner in choosing paint colors. Paint all trim white. Install "A" grade 5 inch hardwood flooring, approximately 450 square feet, in halls, kitchen and family room. Install new 1/4 inch sub-floor in family room. Install new base trim in family room and case door. Install shoe molding over new hardwood floor at base. Remove existing kitchen cabinets. Install new American Classic Oak cabinets per diagram, including above range white microwave. Install laminated countertops, like existing. Assisted home owner in choosing a color that looks like granite. Install ceramic tile back splash above countertops. Reinstall existing appliances. Install toe board at base of cabinets. Install one upper and one base trim facing on end cabinet. Install new stainless steel sink and fixtures. Re-plump pvc pipes (sink-trap) and run new flexible supply lines. Replace electrical outlets in white in above rooms and halls, including gfi. Install new kitchen light and rear hall ceiling mount light. Install felt pads for chairs and furniture to be set on hardware floor. Numerous miscellaneous items, including install new door stops. Job site cleaned daily. Five year labor warranty.
