Outstanding job! The crew had to dig out our outlet lids, which were buried 14"-16" down. The tank was very full, but they did a very thorough job and left the site very tidy. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

I could not have been more pleasantly surprised to have this company come out and solve our septic issues. I talked to Carol in the morning and she had Don and Dave come out to diagnose and solve our septic tank issues in the afternoon. The septic tank needed to be cleaned but more importantly, the septic pump was broke and Don and Dave fixed it so the system works perfectly now. They explained to me how the entire system is working and that there is an alarm system that needs to be set correctly inside the house. We move to the Cleveland area from Chicago about 2 years ago and we had minimal knowledge on all these septic items. Again, Don and Dave did a great job with their work while Carol helped me isolate what might be the problem over the phone when I first talked to her. Hats off to all these folks and I could not be happier with this company.

Gary and RJ arrived on time and performed the work quickly and professionally.  They work really well as a team.

Gary's knowledge of septic systems was amazing.  His description of my septic system was spot on, and they had the clog cleared out in a jiffy.

He must have X-ray vision.  (Well, he DID use a camera system for part of the job).

I now have a good understanding of my whole septic system so I can maintain it properly.

Plus, they let me look "over their shoulder" while they ran the camera up the line and I was able to use my camcorder to record the information for future use.  Awesome. 

Their response time was good, quality work excellent, they spent minimum time on site, and the price was right.

Before they left, they even asked me if there was anything else they could do.  Heck, my doctor doesn't even to that.

My first impression with Gary was an indication of how the project would go.  He was on-time, communicative, helpful, and professional.  He offered options to solving my problem, then came out again with Tom to offer a second corroborating opinion.  On the day of the scheduled work, the team arrived on time, worked hard, completed the job, and filled me in on the details.  They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly.

The technician was very prompt and professional.  He advised about general septic maintenance (this is our first system) and gave tips and pointers about keeping it in good order.   He did not try to sell a lot of unnecessary services.

I called Tim Frank to check out the septic in a foreclosure we had just purchased. The person on the phone was very helpful in answering my questions and setting up the appointment. The appointment was for 8:45 - 9:00 on Monday morning and Don was there just before 9:00. I explained to him that I knew very little about septic systems, having been a city dweller my whole life. Don was courteous and friendly while we walked the property and located the tank. Once the lid was off, he explained what he was doing and how the system worked. He also gave us tips to follow for proper care and maintenance of our system. In fact we have already recommended them to a family member who had hired another company that was unable to inspect her system.

I made the appointment yesterday and was given the time frame of late morning or early afternoon and he arrived at 12:30 pm. 
He gave pointers on how to replace fuses ourselves and what to try before needing a service call.  He also gave other general and helpful information since this is our first septic system.

The system passed the county test!  The company let me do some digging myself to save some money.  They were very nice to work with.

 Tom had our second pump rebuilt, and had to drain our sewer tank a couple of times to fix piping that needed repair.  He explained that our fuse needed to be upgraded to match the alarms voltage, and called me regularly to give me updates on where he was with his diagnose and repair.  Once he took over the job, I truly didn't worry another minute that I would have another sewer back up. I can't say enough about Tom and Carol.  Great company.

This review is very simple? I'm selling my home and part of the county requirements is to get the septic system inspected by the health department. For relatively small fee the county sends an inspector out and makes sure that your septic system is working but what they don't tell you is that they won't lift a finger to find the components. I've lived in this house for 10 years and had no idea that there were five separate concrete lids covering transfer boxes as well as 4 lids which cover twin 1000 gallon tanks. I was advised to call a local septic company to expose the components for the county inspection. (FYI systems on a flat grade can have as many 12 to 14 boxes)
I called Tim Frank because they were one of the highest rated companies on Angie's list. I can't begin to express how important it is to read the reports people take the time to leave. As a practice I always call at least two or three companies (assuming they have no negative reports) and then choose the one that I feel was most punctual and will likely provide the best service. The lady who answers the phone at Tim Frank is related by marriage to the person who founded the company. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of the company's services and the costs associated with them. By the time I made my initial call there was no reason to call the other contractors. I was given an upfront price over the phone and a worst-case scenario all of which I could live with.
The following Monday (5/20/2013) two of their servicemen showed up to my property and literally walked me step-by-step through exactly what they were doing and what the county inspector would be looking for. The education alone was worth the $250 I spent. The most impressive parts was that a few items needed to be addressed and they gave me advice which would ultimately prove to be invaluable. I've never heard of the contractor finding a repairable item and suggesting you hold off fixing it ( thus potentially allowing a competitor to do it) for a later date. The advice given to me by the more experienced of the two servicemen was that any repairs they make could force the county inspector to fail the  inspection because work was performed. It would delay the closing of my property by 60 days at a minimum or until they could get back out and retest.
If you choose to use a different company for your septic needs that's fine however if you're hiring them for a service similar to mine under no circumstance do you allow them to make any repairs until the county has seen your system. You will likely infuriate the county inspector who will fail your system because it will appear is if you try to hide something from them. Just friendly words of advice. I will naturally be using this company in the future for anything related to the new property I purchased and it septic needs.

Everything was great. It took him a long time to clean the tanks, and he went over dos and don'ts to keep everything up to par.
He inspected the leach beds and found a broken crock... which we expected. We will have them back to fix that.
