This was an excellent experience. The store has gazillions of stock items for cabinets, chairs, desks, bookcases, dressers, bed frames and any wood product you can think of. I spoke with the Amish craftsman at length and was able to choose the design, wood type, finish and dimensions for a bookcase for an unusual-sized space in my house. Within two weeks, the bookcase was finished at a very reasonable cost. I had to pick it up myself and, as with many Amish businesses, only checks and cash were accepted, but this was less of an inconvenience than a chance to remember how life used to be. The bookcase is drop-dead gorgeous!
