Excellent, very happy with new driveway

Everything was done very well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great work.

It went great. They were professional, punctual, they showed up when they said they would and the concrete also showed up when they said. I happened to be out of town when they started work, and they called me to let me know what was going on which I thought was a nice attention to detail. I also appreciated that John who came out to do the work was both the salesperson and installer, as opposed to other companies I've noticed who send out salesmen whom you never see again.

The driveway was original (1950). One challenge John Rossi had to tackle was to remove a very large Ash tree stump abutting the driveway, mid-section. He sub-contracted the stump grinding and it was done in conjunction with the driveway demolition. The whole process was seamless. Given John's experience in the business he took the initiative to reinforce the middle of the driveway with rebar to prevent potential shifting of the driveway due to the stump issue. Special consideration was also given to the original garage floor to ensure there were no issues with the edge of the floor, and also the connection to an existing sidewalk where the new concrete would be poured. The finished product looks great and is functional relative to rain run-off.
John's quote was very close to two other quotes but we decided to accept his bid as he and his family have done concrete work in the area for many decades and we have observed his work the past 30 plus years. John is passionate about doing quality work, he is responsive to questions, he is good at explaining how the project will work and also, educating folks who don't understand concrete work. He not only shows up on time but, in most cases, early. John personally works with his crew and they are very efficient as well as fastidious about their finished product.
Personally, I couldn't recommend anyone higher than John Rossi and his crew.

John and his crew removed all of the old concrete in one day and left the site immaculate. They poured the driveway 5 days later due to unfortunate weather conditions. The garage floor and the drive way look great. These guys really know what they are doing and do a great job. John is very good about explaining the job, and how to handle the new concrete once they leave.

The job was done in a day and Mr. Rossi kept his word by showing up early and everything that he said he'd do did it in a high quality professional manner.

I am extremely pleased with the service and job that Rossi Construction did. I would use them in the future and have referred others to them. I cannot say enough about how professional they were. You will not be unhappy if you use them!

Everything went well from start to finish. They put a nice brush finish design on my sidewalk. They set the bolts in the concrete to build the shed too.

The work they did was very straight. Rossi and everyone of his crew were very pleasant to work with. I had three estimates and his was the best.

They were on time. They did an excellent job. The owner worked right along side his men. They communicated well.

Hired John Rossi due to seeing the concrete work he had performed for others and his reputation in the community. John was prompt, professional and personable from the time he came to discuss what we wanted done, writing up our estimate, performed the work we hired him to do in the time frame he said he would do it, weather permitting, and paying him upon completion. He was honest, patient, thorough, and dependable. A true credit to his trade! We would highly recommend him to anyone as well as use him again in the future if needed.

The first contact we made with them was on a Saturday morning. We left message with several companies and Rossi called us back within a half hour. The other companies didn't call back until Monday or Tuesday. I realized we called on a weekend and really didn't expect a call back until Monday so we were suprised how fast Rossi responded. We felt like they really wanted our business. They came out that same day and gave an estimate. John Rossi was very knowledgeable and explained to us exactly what they would do.

They were a little higher than other estimates but because of John's knowledge and years in business we decided to go with them.

It took a couple months before they were able to do the work. We were having a lot of rain so they got behind, I can understand that but only wish they would of kept in touch with us. My husband had to call several times to see when they would be out.

Rossi did a beautiful job and we are happy with the driveway.

I did some pricing before and Rossi was not the least expensive, but they did a wonderful job. They put in new drains under the back of my driveway and worked around rainy weather. The whole driveway was hand finished and sealed. Two years later it still looks great!

Rossi provided a competitive quote for removing and replacing my driveway. They answered questions during our walk-through, provided references, and indicated all the driveways they had already replaced on my street. They was very responsive to further questions after providing the quote. They removed my driveway, the step to the back entrance, and three sidewalk pads, set up forms, and spread gravel on the first day. When the weather cleared up a couple of days later, they spent about 1/2 day packing the gravel down and rolling out steel mesh. The third day they poured the concrete. Despite the rain on the first day and the resulting mud, they were very neat and did not make a mess in my yard. They created a curved walkway from the driveway to my new front porch and created their and quot;signatureand quot; effect in the walk - blocks of different sizes that creates a beautiful visual effect. They gave me very clear instructions on how to care for the new driveway and called me the day after they poured the drive to make sure everything was okay. They gave me help on how to protect the concrete long-term.

Rossi is owned by Pete Rossi and his son John. Grandsons are part of the work crew. Other employees have been with Rossi for many years. The staff was very professional, and very effiecient. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. John provided the quote and is very knowledgeable and was very helpful.

The driveway looks spectacular and I love their signature style in my new front walkway. I would definitely hire them again.

Obviously, they've worked in the neighborhood and I received 3 estimates and theirs was the best. They were very professional and reasonably priced. During the estimate, they looked over every detail and you know what you can expect.

fine. good work. explained what they were going to do in detail and their value-add compared to competition. many in the neighborhood had used him so I was confident. it took a couple of weeks from contract signing until he called to start work - mostly due to weather. very fast work. in one day the old driveway out taken out and all was prepared for pour. waited 2 days for weather and inspection. then pour and completed in 1 additional day.

The experience was very good and overall positive. They did a good job. He's been doing it for over 40 years, so they are very well-experienced. They did an overall good job.

The gentleman that owns the business took me to the places that he did in my neighborhood and showed me the differences in years of concrete wear. He also gave us many references to check for the quality of the work that had been done in the past and present. I was able to see that there was a consistent quality in the work. He took a lot of time and explained things very thoroughly. He explained about his materials and how he was going to go about his work and what the timeline was going to be. We were able to negotiate a real good price. I did get several other estimates. I was very impressed with the amount of time he took. He was the cheapest and also he was the most thorough. The information he gave us was identical to what we had looked up. That wasn't the same with the other two guys. They found that the electrical work that led from the house to a corner light at the edge of the driveway had been covered up by the previous concrete and they went out of their way to install an electrical line to that fixture correctly. We were out of town and they didn't get a chance to let us know that they had done that and they did it at no extra charge. That line was attached also to a refrigerator that we had so we had to replace everything in it but that wasn't their fault. It was more than we had expected and they didn't charge us for that. They have been around for many, many years and they have a good reputation.

Excellent job!! My driveway looks great and the workers were terrific throughout the whole process. They showed up when they were supposed to and were very competent in doing their work. When I got the original estimate, the job was explained to me in excellent detail. I would highly recommend them (and have) to others.

Rossi and company did a fabulous job. My new driceway is perfect. They had quite a time because there were big tree roots in the back that had to be removed. They replaced drain pipe under the driveway and installed a new drain. I have recommended them to several other people and they have been very satisfied with their work. I can;t say enough good things about this company.

John Rossi was very thorough when it came to gathering information for the estimate. We had to delay the start of the project due to a death in our family and John was very understanding and accommodating. He also made sure that the concrete was poured only when there was no chance of rain, even though this delayed the pouring by a week due to intermittent rains. The work was done very professionally and thououghly, and it looks great. I would highly recommend Rossi Construction for anyone looking to have a driveway installed.

John Rossi is an excellent contractor. He is very honest and gives you a great deal of information upfront. He and his crew came in and removed the old concrete on one day and poured the new concrete the next. When he was digging near the house, he discovered that the storm drain tile had come apart. He showed me the situation which was probably the reason there was water coming into the basement during heavy rains. He fixed the drain tile and that seems to have fixed the water problem. He replaced the walkway from the front door to the driveway and did a very nice design in the concrete. It is obvious from his attention to detail that he is very conscientious and takes great pride in his company's work. His price was competitive and I highly recommend him. His crew was also very nice.

Getting the estimate was quick and easy and no deposit was required for them to schedule the work. It took quite a bit of time for them to actually come and do the installation as it seemed that they were trying to work me in at a time when they would already be in the area. When they did come to do the installation it was extremely efficient and prompt timewise. Work began at around 7 am and they were packing up to leave just after noon leaving behind a beautiful concrete drive while also completely cleaning up after themselves. Overall a great experience from an established company.
