Brought in an old vacuum with a loose part. Discovered that it was not a replaceable part. Owner showed us a range of new vacs. Got a good machine at a good price. Felt taken care of.

They replaced the belt in the vacuum and cleaned it up on the spot. It is now running nice and smoothly. I was in and out within 10minutes and that kind of service is outstanding. They switched back to a different/original ownership or management and their service is back to its' high quality level.

I contacted Chuck Earls at All Suburban Vacuum Cleaner via e-mail upon finding his name on the Heat Surge list of authorized service and sales locations.  My unit was turning off by itself and not responding to the troubleshooting solutions in the manual so I wanted to have someone familiar with Heat Surges look at it.
Chuck responded immediately to my e-mail offering his thoughts about the way my heater was working/not working.  He was very amenable to taking a look at it and said that it might be a simple problem with the reset button.  However, he also explained that the problem could be more complicated and require new parts.  In the event of the former, he would not charge for the simple troubleshooting whereas the latter would incur a charge, the amount of which would depend on the extent of the repairs that were required.
Despite the "quick fix" the heater kept tripping out and shutting itself off requiring Chuck to look at it more closely whereupon he found that it was a problem with the circuit board.  Unfortunately, that part was no longer available so a replacement was required.   Chuck took care of ordering and installing it in the mantel of the old one.  All of this work was completed within a week of my bringing in the broken one.
Chuck was very good about keeping me in the loop at every stage and keeping to the deadlines he proposed.  I was also very pleased with the service I received from his co-worker Sam with whom I finalized the transaction on a particular Saturday when Chuck was unable to be at the store.

This is such a great little shop. Good old fashioned customer service. Friendly, helpful & reasonable price. Rick even found an attachment I had been looking for my 1970's sweeper. I had been looking for this particular hardwood floor attachment for years and he went to the special trouble to locate one. They just go the extra mile at this shop. Rick polished my sweeper up to look like new. I also purchased a refurbished Kirby as a gift for my daughter, it was a super deal and they had it looking like brand new. They have all kinds of attachments and sweeper bags in this little shop you can't find anywhere else.

THEY KNOW THEIR PRODUCT VERY WELL. WE SPENT ALMOST AN HOUR DISCUSSING THE MERITS OF VARIOUS VACUUM TYPES. WHEN I MENTIONED THAT COST WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE VACUUM I WISHED TO PURCHASE, THEY GAVE ME AN $80 DISCOUNT!!! I GOT THE VACUUM THAT I REALLY WANTED. THEY ENCOURAGED ME TO CALL THEM IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS. GREAT SERVICE.
