They came out to look at the job a day after I called them. Then, they emailed a detailed proposal for the work the next day. Bill Drout came out a few days before they did the work to get the details. A crew showed up when they said they would and performed an excellent job installing the pad. They were very professional and personable. It was two weeks from the time they received my signed proposal and the day they did the work which was amazing considering how much rain we had during that time.

When called, they had someone come out the next day to give us an estimate. They said they would send us the estimate in the mail, which they did in record time. They came out to do the job and left the place clear of any mess. The steps look nice and I am sur will last a long time. My only disappointment was we loss the concrete sides to the steps which they said were in bad shape when the steps were removed and the hand rail was not replaced. This I believe may have been a miss understanding.

We hired Mr. Drout to replace an on-ground deck with a poured concrete patio. The initial salesperson was very helpful- answering all of our questions. We then met with Mr. Drout to go over the actual process and choose a color for the concrete. Since this was late in the year (Nov) he said that it might be spring before he could get to us. In mid Dec he called and said he had an opening and could fit us in. He completed the job in one day. Since a freeze was forecast he constructed an elaborate cover to protect the pour. The color came out perfect and the patio is beautiful. As an inspector in the construction trades I can attest to the professionalism and superior workmanship of Mr. Drout and his workers. I would definitely recommend “Bill Drout Concrete” to anyone who needs concrete work.

I think that their work really holds up well. There are no cracks, it's perfect. They not only dig you out but they put down rebar and the mesh bedding before pouring the concrete. I wanted it not totally white, so they put in a particular type of dye that they use for that kind of thing.
