Kieffer's Heating & Cooling

Old furnace (40 yrs old) required replacement after discovery of heat exchanger issues. I have used Kiefer's on multiple occasions over the past 3 years and have been very please with his "fix first, replace only when necessary" approach to HAVC issues. Kiefer provided a proposal with options for replacing the furnace, identifying additional costs possible depending on my selection of furnace. We chose an upgraded model that required additional flue work after reviewing the proposal and discussing with him the various options. The furnace installation went exactly as promised. The price was exactly as quoted. Permits were pulled as required. The old unit being replaced presented multiple problems because of the age and size of the unit but Kiefer dealt with each one as they occurred. The old unit and all installation materials were removed (the size of the old unit required it be taken apart to get out of the basement), the furnace area was swept and cleaned following completion. And the team doing the work were very easy to work with and accommodated our fluctuating schedules as needed.
