Drain Surgeon is more like it for our fiasco. We just moved into our new house that was built in 1958. The first night in, the main drains backed up. Called Nathan at The Drain Doctor and they arrived a few hours later as they said they would. Our house is unique in that there are two main lines running to the septic system, which we didn't know at the time.  Problem is, one of them was never marked and it looked like we only had one main line that functioned with a lift pump. They pulled the pump and it was trashed. The pipe wasn't even connected to the pump. Nathan had the guys run and get the new pump and installed it quickly. Forgot to mention that he had to cut the bolt heads off the lid to remove the pump from the deep hole. What a miserable job. Nathan was laying on the ground, stretched out in the hole using a diamond wheel cutter to cut the bolts. He did it very quick. The new pump was installed; the toilet in the addition worked but the toilets in the main house were still blocked. They had to pull a toilet and run the snake in that line. About 20 feet in they hit a pretty stubborn plug. They kept at it and punched through. It was around this time that Nathan realized the line they were snaking wasn't connected to the other line with the bad lift pump as I told them. It was an entirely separate line going straight to the septic system. Nathan determined that there was another tank in the yard next to the other tanks. SURPRISE! Our yard is heavy with very thick Ivy vines. He used a probe and found the buried lid and pulled it. Thank goodness. He found the main sludge tank. While we were in the yard tracking this down, his guys finished pulling out the snake with a very large amount of roots on it. It was a MESS, but they didn't leave a mess. They were very careful while pulling it and cleaned everything up great. They reinstalled the toilet and everything worked great. Ours was one of those nightmare jobs where one issue after another came up. For the quality and amount of work they had to do, I was expecting a bill much higher.  Nathan and his guys were great. They were all so friendly and knowledgeable. We will never-ever consider calling anyone else except Nathan at The Drain Doctor for future plumbing issues. THANKS Nathan!!!

Very responsive. called on a Friday evening and they came right over within 15 minutes. They checked circuit breaker first to make sure pump was really burned out and then replaced it waiting for the water to pump down and the pump to cycle before leaving.

First employee called before arriving, came on time. Got right to work but needed additional help and equipment. Came back with more powerful equipment and resolved the issue. Kept me aware of situation all along, quoting prices for several different possible steps to take care of the issues. Gave substantial discount including first time customer and senior citizen.  Cleaned up after themselves. Both men were personable and polite and had a good sense of humor.  Explained that there could be no guarantee because they had no control over what I put down my drain (which is probably why there was a problem in the first place). I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Although they were running late, they notified me and ended up discounting their work accordingly. They fixed everything the do-it-themselfer that previously owned my house had done improperly (i.e. entirely new plumbing was needed in the kitchen) and I even called them again to fix some valves that needed repair. They were professional and did a very good job. I would recommend them.

I was experiencing water in my basement. Nathan (aka and quot; The Drain Dr.and quot;) arrived at my house at the time promised. He and Jesse performed a thorough inspection of my sanitary and storm lines. They used a camera to view the lines and discovered gobs of tree roots had grown through the seams of the pipes. They then jetted the roots, essentially blasting through them with high-pressure water. They didn't stop at the first gob; they continued the process and found several more gobs that needed to be cleared. They jetted all the way out to the street. I was very pleased with their knowledge, performance of the job and professionalism.
