I gave him check after check nothing was ever completed or in most never started.. At the time he was a partner with All Sides Construction and his partner who he has working on his crew today went under now this company. But same person who took me for thousands are the same who own this company. Dave Rogers.. He also has fraud charges in rocky river he got probation on however his other worker / partner went to prison . For only 10 months from bilking thousands out of people..

Dave was hired in early June of 2018 by our realtor to replace the crumbling driveway and crooked patio in our yard to bring the step heights up to code. Also the neighbor 3 doors away driveway. On July 1st he parked a dump truck, trailer, and tractor in my yard. On July 6th he removed the neighbors driveway and put a pile of their slabs in MY YARD as they did not fit in his dump truck and he did not feel like making another trip to the dump. By the 12th of July he was finished with the neighbors drive yet the slabs and his equipment remained in my yard, while he was doing this his entire crew decided our front lawn would be a great parking lot and proceeded to ruin our lawn. On the 16th of July he came and put the slabs in his dump and tore out a section in the middle of my driveway until his truck was full then left without a word. At this point my driveway was useless and it was four more days before he returned to remove the rest of the drive. Again it did not fit in his truck and he left a large pile of concrete slabs between mine and the neighbors driveways. Five weeks and many calls to Dave later we decided to call the city and complain, Dave called within 10 minutes and proceeded to attempt to shame my girlfriend for calling on him. He poured the driveway the next day, 6 WEEKS AFTER HE STARTED A 4 DAY JOB!!! Dave violated several city codes when he poured. 1- He did not put any wire mesh in any of the concrete. 2- he did not use expansion materials between existing and new concrete. 3- He did not use expansion between the driveway and sidewalk/apron. 4- the sidewalk and apron are 4" or less thick with a 3" thickness at the dip (?????) in our apron, code is 6". On the 5th of September 2018 I left a message for Dave to get here and clean up his damned mess and equipment (forms, cones, plywood, and concrete slabs} left in my yard. He returned my call an proceeded to threaten me with "a world of sh*t", that "he considered the job done", and "he would clean up when he F*CKING felt like it because we didn't hire him and he doesn't work for us, we are just renters". It is now the 8th of September and the garbage is still in ours and our neighbors yard although the neighbor picked up all the chunks in his yard and piled them at the curb with Dave's sign in it. I had Safe Guard come to my house and pour a new seawall and build a new dock in Portage Lakes, OH. The experience of David and Safe Guard, are definitely revealed in the quality work that they provide. Very easy to work, and very punctual with their schedule. Highly recommended!!

A++ work. Dave and Mike were great. They were here every day, all day long. They even mopped and vacuumed after each day of work. The end result is beautiful. We couldn't be happier. We hired Safeguard again for our next project.

After months of looking to hire someone to replace my garage floor - I found the perfect contractor - Dave Rogers and Safeguard Renovations! Dave came out and gave me a quote and was excellent from Day 1. Dave and his crew did a phenomenal job tearing out my old garage floor and prepping it for the new floor. Dave replaced an old support beam in my garage roof with a new LVL beam - and was able to remove the metal pole that had been in the middle of the garage for years - now I can finally open my car door with banging into the pole. Dave shored up the garage walls and poured a flawless new concrete floor. I am so happy with the results! Dave came when he said he would, did what he said he was going to do, worked consecutive days until the job was done, kept things clean and neat throughout the entire process and kept me informed each and every step of the way.
