They were very professional. It took them a few trips to determine how to fix this.

I think they are on your list and we were not at all happy with their work and it was insurance claim and they had to settle up with the insurance company. They didn't clean up after themselves and they didn't complete the job, I had had someone else to do it. I would not use them again.

"Restorx has made several personnel changes since your experience. Obviously, customer feedback is important to us as it helps us pinpoint areas where improvements can be made."

The job estimator showed up promptly to inspect basement and gather information to put a quote together. I explained to the worker exactly what I wanted done. I wanted EVERYTHING taken out of the basement, including non-weight-bearing stud walls and furring strips. I wanted the basement to be pristine. The owner/manager worked with the estimator to put together a quote for the work. During several phone calls I explained to the owner/manager what I wanted done. We agreed on a price and a date for the work. The team was supposed to arrive at 8:30 on 11/3. They didn't arrive until close to 10:00. Not a huge deal, but they were late.
A team of about 8 men showed up. I explained again to all of them that I wanted everything out of the basement down to the concrete floor and the concrete walls. They agreed.
The men worked very hard and diligently. They cleaned up after themselves. They stayed until 10 pm but at the end of the night the stud walls and and furring strips still there. After several phone calls with the owner/manager, he tried to reassure me that my basement was fine and I didn't need to have the wood removed. I explained that this was my request all along and was the basis for every other quote I received (two other quotes). The owner/manager quoted an additional price of $1,200 to $1,500 to come out and remove the wood. My opinion is that the invoice said the wood would be removed, but the owner/manager did not agree. We disagreed on what was meant by "Level 3". I could not get the company to complete what I wanted for the price we agreed on. They also removed a foyer rug (approx 7' x 9') to clean and promised they'd return. A month later, I'm still waiting for my rug to be returned. They have my home number and my cell phone number. No one has called me to arrange for a time to return it.
I found someone else to complete the work, which will be an additional expense to me. I'm sure RestorX will say they would have finished the job, but I doubt they will say they would have finished the job for the price we agreed on without requiring me to pay extra.
If you use this company, make sure you understand what you are hiring them to do ahead of time and make sure you get everything in writing.

"The manager that you were dealing with was not the owner. That employee is no longer with the company."

They came and took photos and planned it and came back and got the job done. Professional job and cleaned everything. They have 24 hour emergency board service.

I got 2 quotes for the first phase, the removal and clean up, one from Serve Pro and one from Restorx. Both reps were prompt and professional, but the Restorx quote came in at less than half of the Serve Pro quote. So we used Restorx. The clean up was great, they had a crew of 3 out the next day and completed it that same day. They hauled away everything that I requested, and did a great job with the power wash. They then set up fans and humidifiers for drying. Thus, for restoration phase I asked Restorx to provide a quote. It seemed reasonable, and they did everything that the insurance company needed. The painting was done next, and when I requested a second coat, they came back to complete it, no questions asked. The only minor issue I had was the long time it took to get the carpet delivered and installed. Overall, prompt at the beginning when it was most important, polite, professional, and helpful from start to finish. So, I highly recommend this company.
