Cost more to fix than it was worth. The tech went over and above to help but it wasn't worth the cost. It was a circuit board problem.

What an amazing company. They not only come on time but give a time in advance on the first call. This has not been my experience with any hot tub company in the last 25 years of owning hot tubs. Mick was there and repaired our tub in record time and then made other appropriate recommendations for the future, I would hire them again in a nanosecond and recommend them to my friends and you.

Well none of the ideas he had me try worked so he came out this morning and after about 5-10 minutes of taking readings determined the circuit board was bad for that part of the system. However he was able to bypass that part of the circuit so the pump would run and the heater started working which will work for now. Picture shows the circulation pump working with heated water coming out. We are really excited to try the tub out once I have the temperature and PH set. Mick is a really nice guy, knowledgeable and honest! I am sure if it was any other company they would have wanted to just replace the circuit board. That is where his 25 years of experience came in and he knew how to solve the problem and I thought a very fair price for the service call. A+ rating from us!

Work performed was excellent.  He found and fixed a slow leak, and added a clamp to a hose that had come loose.  He refilled the tub for us after the water level dropped from the clamp that previously came loose.  He reassembled the sides for us, which I had removed while trying to find/troubleshoot the slow leak myself (i never found it).
The only major rub for us, was punctuality.  We called on Saturday to set up a Monday morning appointment.  On Monday morning he asked for pictures to be emailed to him (which we did), but he never showed up that day.  In fact, he wasnt able to come out until Thursday.
That said, the service technician (Mick) was professional and offered great advice.  He warned that the previous owner of this tub had received a total hack-job on replacement of the control system ("A1 Hot Tub Guy" - STAY AWAY! check out my review on that clown!).  He came out the next day to help us inspect and provide a quote for additional repairs.  Since the hot tub is now non-functional (a result of an electronic controls failure, NOT related to anything NC Spa worked on) he was even nice enough to let us borrow his ceramic portable heater to keep the water from freezing in the tub while we wait on repairs or replacement.
Would recommend, and would use again.  However, if you are far from their location (they are in Mentor, we are in Medina), be forewarned that logistics pose a challenge for timely service.

I messaged a few spa/pool contractors on Angie's list with my problem: pump stopped working.
Doug got wrote back to me with a number to call. I called on Saturday, and we scheduled a time for today Tuesday April 1st.
Mitch came over and did the repair, now the tub works great.

He did a good job. The price was a little high because he was coming from another town.

He was very honest and knowledgeable. He came in and did the work quickly.

We cleaned, filled, and started-up our hot tub at the end of May. A strange noise was coming out of the heater unit and one of the two jets was not working. When we called spa guy Mick, he suggested we try running it without the filter to see if that may have been blocking the flow of water. It didn't help, so we notified him. He came out and found several of the electrical components needed replacing. The hot tub now works better than ever!
