died on arrival--It was hard to believe how sudden this happened but the kindness of the Dr. and her explination of what happened helped me understand the suddeness of his passing --altho I feel guily for not seeing the warnings earlier it was explained to me that at that point nothing could have been done

Love, love, love these vets and their staff. They've always been very good with my dogs--very knowledgeable and compassionate. You can tell that everyone there really loves animals and that it's more than just a job to them.

My boyfriend had a dog that we believed ingested poison. Dr. McLaren took us in immediately. She found ways to treat the dog without costing a fortune. Although she was not this particular dog's vet, she is now. This dog had no vet. All of my pets, including the bird, go to Mentor Veterinary Clinic. The staff are very caring, and are experts at handling a crisis and panic stricken people. They will give you an estimate of any services that you would like as far as shots and yearly treatments. It is usually not a happy time when you go to the vet with a beloved pet, but the caring, loving faces that await you, will put you at ease.
