Ben came to my home and removed the current fabric on the back of my couch. He replaced it with a matching fabric that I purchased at Jo Ann Fabrics. He then took my chewed cushion and the back fabric to his shop and remade a new cushion for my couch. Ben was friendly and efficient. He did an excellent job on my couch cushion. He saved me from having to purchase a whole new couch!!!

Overall, this was a great experience. I love my new sofa's, ottoman and chair. When I started, I wasn't really thinking of purchasing from them, I was just curious and stopped in. I've been putting off new furniture for a long time because everything within my budget seemed cheap -- and I don't like microfiber (which seemed like my only option). I was incredibly impressed to see that MBU creates furniture from and quot;scratchand quot;. And while they have about 5 different models, they were more than willing to mix and match so that I could get exactly what I wanted (I had definite ideas regarding the arms, back, cushions, etc). In addition, Angie was able to make some great suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. It took me about two weeks to make final choices (mostly on fabrics). Then, they priced everything out. I have to admit I was a bit shocked when it was added up. So I took another few weeks to think about it and shop. The prices were very much dependent on the fabric I picked -- and I knew I picked more expensive fabrics. Angie was willing to show me other options -- but I fell in love with my choices by that time. I did go shop at a variety of stores. Department stores (ie, Macy's and Dillards) and moderate furniture stores (like Levin) ran about the same price range -- but with cheaper fabrics and cushions and what seemed like something which would be less durable overall. Higher end furniture stores (Arhaus) were more in line with what I expected / wanted -- but the price was at least two to three times higher than MBU. My only issue with MBU was delivery time. I fully expected that all this work would be about 10 weeks. And then I was surprised when I was told 4 - 6 weeks. As it turned out -- it took 10 weeks. And I was the one who called @ 5 weeks to ask about progress; and then had to call again every few weeks to figure out what was going on. I didn't mind that it took 10 weeks, but I was frustrated that I had to be the one to call them instead of them calling me and adjusting the delivery. I'm glad I didn't have some big party at my house .... I will say that I stopped in at one point -- just to see progress -- and was pleasantly surprised to see my sofas framed out. Nick then patiently explained each step of what had been done and what would be next. So absolutely no doubt in my mind that these are WELL made ! And, good things come to those who wait. I love my furniture and was very very pleased. I would highly recommend them (and already have to friends) .. but would suggest that you plan on 10 weeks !
