The entire process was incredible right from the very first phone call. Jeff and Lisa and the whole crew are very good at what they. We did a huge kitchen renovation which could have been very stressful but Jeff and Lisa made it a very smooth and enjoyable experience. The project was started on the agreed date and was finished almost on schedule. We had a little delay on some materials due to Covid but the crew was there every day doing work. They even took extra good care of our fur babies to make sure they were safe and comfortable while they were working. We ended up with a kitchen that exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Lost Pond Construction.

From the moment I met Jeff I knew we’d hire him and his company for our renovations. Jeff and Lisa were amazing to work with. They really took the time to understand what we wanted and what budget we had to work with. Jeff and Lisa had excellent communication and always got back with a response to any question or concern in a timely manner. We knew everything down to the last detail and who was coming when. His team of works were excellent as well, can’t say enough for the guys that came and did the work each and every day. My wife and I interviewed five different contractors and after that process we decided to move forward with Jeff and the Lost Pond team. From day one demo to project completed the entire experience was wonderful. Jeff’s design coordinator Lisa and her 3D presentation made our kitchen come to life and see how our new kitchen would look at completion. Professional and quality work at a fair price! Working with Jeff and his team at Lost Pond Construction was a great experience. Jeff took time to learn our style and understand our situation. We hired Lost Pond to make improvements to our master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and refinish our hard wood floors all while our family was preparing to move back to the United States from overseas. Jeff went out of his way to coordinate with our extended family for home access until we moved back. Putting in hours over the holiday's, his team was able to finish the project ahead of schedule. Lost Pond made everything they improved look like new and we couldn't be happier. The interaction we had with his team was professional and courteous. Jeff is extremely responsive and easy to contact either through email or phone calls. I highly recommend Lost Pond for home improvement projects. If we continue with more projects that involve a contractor, we'll definitely use Lost Pond.

We could not have been more pleased with the entire project. From the initial design consults to the material and color schemes and the final product was 5-star service. Jeff and his team hit every deadline (even during COVID) and came in on budget! We had Lost Pond do our master bath and a build-out of basement bedroom and bath for our new home in Kirtland. well. the work was professional, detailed, and thorough. Schedules and deadlines were a challenge and difficult to manage as the company was located two Counties away. This was worked through effectively. The clean up was well done. The workers were respectful to our schedule and space needs. The communication with Jeff was very good and client sensitive.

Great! During the planning stages, we were able to visualize our new laundry room through a 3D layout which made us more comfortable with design decisions. Options and price points were clearly defined. We appreciated the option of having a designer recommend and/or shop for features within the room. Lost Pond was professional and prompt. Communication was very good through the process. They handled a few minor punch list items quickly and professionally. We would definitely use Lost Pond Construction again.

The team at Lost Pond is professional, first class and truly top of the line. Our experience with them was great. We had LP design, demo and remodel our 20 year old master bathroom. Prior to brining in LP, I had received quotes from two other remodel companies.. Both were professional and both provided quotes as to the work that was going to be done. I then reached out to LP and was put in contact with Jeff Tortorea. Jeff asked a different questions over the phone of the work that we were looking for and then explained the way that LP does business. LP does prefer to design first, quote a job, then provide project timelines. The reasoning behind doing it this way is to have the least disruption to the day to day life of the homeowner by having the entire project planned in advance -- from demo, to plumbing, electric, countertops, shower, etc... After hearing Jeff explain this, I told him (after speaking to my wife) that we would go with them. The team that Jeff has is great as well. From Liz who worked with us prior to design, to Andrea who really helped us see what the new bath would look like and provided unbelieveable suggestions on tile, colors, etc to the top of the line Project Manager, Ric --- the team was great. Many buyers and reviews you find on Angie's list have statements around the contractor being unorganized, unresponsive, etc.. That is not the case with LP. The responsiveness of the entire team was literally almost immediate. Even when someone texted Ric at 9pm at night regarding what kind of lightbulb to get for the bathroom -- he responded almost immediately. The quality of contractors that LP brings in are great as well. LP team will do the demo, but there are certain folks - tile contractors, plumbers, painters, electricians - that are subbed out. The subs that LP uses do a heck of a job, communicate well and do quick, quality work. The ENTIRE LP team cares about their customers, their customer's satisfaction (even warranties on the work) and the end product their delivering. I would highly recommend Liz, Andrea, Ric and the team to any person that is looking for a quality, high end company that wants a job done efficiently and correctly.

This company is the real deal, so satisfied! I had heard so many horror stories of kitchen remodel projects going wrong, I was a little nervous. From the beginning to the end this company and their employees know this business well and do a fantastic job! I was never nervous about any of The Lost Pond Construction employees coming into my house while I was at work, that was a HUGE relief for me. Mike and Logan are amazing guys who know what they are doing and always want the customer to be happy & work to make sure they are! Ric always kept me abreast of what to expect next & kept the communication open. Liz and Lisa Lynn were always there to help me with anything I needed, they knew my taste and would offer me suggestions & would meet me if I felt I needed some extra guidance at any of the places that we would make our selections from, this was invaluable to me! We took a huge leap of faith by contracting with Lost Pond Construction for this major renovation project. Our experience could not have been better. From design work to the finishing touches and every detail in between, we were VERY SATISFIED. All of the people working on the project were professional, prompt, and patient with our questions and concerns and expectations. We were kept informed at each step along the way. We certainly appreciated the attention to details and professionality, not to mention the efficiency and quality of the workers and workmanship. Valuable information and suggestions in order to make comfortable, informed decisions were given at each step of the way for this renovation. Our project included new siding and windows, complete kitchen redo, moving walls, updating bathrooms, adding a laundry room, and new drywall, electrical, and painting throughout. All of the components were handled with skill and efficiency, especially when juggling several contractors at once. Our house project was done over a four month period and everything was completed on schedule or ahead of schedule. The entire Lost Pond team was dedicated to ensuring that everything was done to our liking and preferences, as well as being done in a timely manner. Lost Pond made promises about what they would do for us and they delivered! We are GREATLY PLEASED with the results and have recommended Lost Pond to many people. Professional job by everyone at LPC: Jeff (owner) with job estimate, Andrea (interior designer) with 3D presentation & assistance in choosing high-end materials, Ric (field supervisor) in working everyday to make sure everything done to our satisfaction. Andy (construction) & all the tradespeople were great- a shout out to Derek who did the tile install. LPC transformed the "1990" economy style of these rooms to 2016 "HGTV" style. It took awhile, about 3 months, but the job was done right. We couldn't be more pleased.

It took several years to save up for replacing our old and out of date kitchen. In late 2015 we were ready. During one of our first meetings, my wife mentioned that she was working long hours in her current position as a Senior Nursing Investigator. Jeff of LP called her ?dumb? for doing that without extra pay. The new ersatz ?designer? told my wife that she was only available on her own schedule which did not include any after hours for family reasons. My wife being insulted left. I should have joined her. A first proposal was written dated November 17, 2015. It had quite a few errors which were mostly corrected. Curiously the revised quote was issued with the same date as the original. When I spoke to Jeff he was OK with two indistinguishable but conflicting quotes. My wife and I visited potential vendors and selected tile patterns, electric fixtures, a granite slab, etc. We had signed a contract on November 17, 2015 with the fixed start date of Feb 1, 2016. Two weeks before that date I called to schedule the preconstruction meeting. I was told that the start date was to be March 1, 2016. Even with three months lead-time, LP had forgotten to schedule the labor. A week later I was told that the delay was our entire fault since we had asked LP to use their own personnel. Jeff had a melt down on February 17th threatening to pull his people off the job because I was a ?bad customer.? I called the Ohio AG?s Consumer Protection Agency and filed a complaint. They told me that talk was cheap suggesting I wait. They said that if LP did as threatened they could act. After threatening to walk as I was not going to be ready for demo, the project belated started Feb 18, 2016. The neophyte designer supplied a set of design drawing that were incomplete and gibberish. It took a day or two but I finally realized that these drawings were a cut and paste of the Jim Bishop Cabinetry library that came with the 2020 design package. They told the trades people on site the lineup of the cabinets but nothing else. I won?t bore you with all the times I had to intervene to prevent errors. I couldn?t prevent all rework but I tried. Fast forward to Tuesday, March 22nd. LP had been busy with a trade show on Monday and did no work on site. They were going to be done that day without fail. They did not apply the second top coat of wall paint, only touched up some spots. I caught one of their people standing on the expensive granite countertops in his work boots threatening to crack it. He was installing the valence that had been delayed due to a misplaced light fixture. The dishwasher was poorly installed missing parts, stripped the fittings for the gas line using slip joint pliers. After a quick sweep up, they left in midafternoon and I was glad to see that go.
That night I found that I had no heat or hot water. LP had not relit the pilot light after having the gas off. The next morning I found that there were numerous ceiling/primer paint splotches on my windows and adjacent furniture. I found that the anti-tip bracket had not been installed under the stove. This is a big deal. I found that electrical junction box in the pantry cabinet was uncovered. There is daylight peeking above the valence. For good measure, Ric grouted the hood fan?s filter in place.
I will fix all the issues myself. I do not trust the LP people.

That is behind me now and we have completed the job much to my satisfaction. Where there bumps in the road? Again yes but all were promptly addressed and solutions implemented. The employees of Lost Pond were all quite professional and knowledgeable. They worked hard and long.
