LAKE CABINET & FLOORING INC

Lake Cabinet installed my Quartz countertop in my kitchen. They came to measure the counter and one week later, they came to install it. When they went to install the counter, they mis-measured and my sink was not centered with my window, which they had to correct. The issue became that they gouged two of my brand new cabinet doors and and didn't say a word to me about it and 2 spots in the drawers below. I had to review my Ring camera footage to see all of them looking right at the damage. They also scraped my brand new oven hood and put a gouge in one of the knobs on my newer stove. I was even home during the installation. They rush ordered a new countertop, so I had to go a week without a sink. I sent the cabinets to be repaired and they were installed again the Friday prior to installing the new countertop. During the SECOND installation, they once again gouged the same two doors that were just fixed. I understand accidents happen, but for this to happen in multiple areas and TWICE is completely unacceptable. I would never use them again.

The floor installation took longer than expected because repair to the subfloor had to be made. The bamboo flooring is absolutely beautiful and the installers did an excellent job with our difficult house. The kitchen cabinets and counters are fantastic. I can't believe this is MY house. It looks like it is from a magazine or HGTV show!

Tommy identifies their family-owned company as a 'small shop". You may have to wait a bit for a returned phone call, but I can verify that it will be worth it. It is kind of like having something made especially for you and gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling that we don't often have with such projects. I was more than a bit nervous about changing anything in my parents home, especially since we lived out-of-town for many years, and associate the home with our vacations, holidays, family, and  music.
In our case, WE had to delay the start of the project and Tommy's team worked around our schedules. I was amazed that the first time Tommy saw the house, he not only recognized the flooring, but told us the two possible ways that it might have been installed. Since the home belonged to my parents, what he said reminded me of information from the past. 
Yes, I miss Tommy's father, a true artist who suggested options to us in 2005, but Tommy also has the artistic eye and knows his business. I am especially grateful for the phone call he made to me with some last-minute suggestions, which were wonderful per the ongoing project in 2013.
I am very pleased with the final result, it is more wonderful than I could have imagined, and I would like to take this opportunity to especially thank John, Tommy and his family, Dominic, and the rest of the team.

Lake Cabinet has been great to deal with. We purchased this house in September and wanted to replace the broken counter on one side and we added a section of cabinets on the other side. We chose laminate because it was more cost effective for now. When we do the "major" renovation in a few years, we'll consider something more fancy. Lake Cabinet has literally thousands of colors/patterns of laminate in their showroom. Whatever you can dream up, they have a sample.

They were very accommodating through the entire process and we never felt pressured. After we paid our deposit, they ordered the materials and came out to do a measure. A few weeks later, they had the counters fabricated and came out to install. Each of these appointments went very smooth and the guy was always on time. The measure took about 15 minutes and the install took a couple of hours. We are extremely happy with the final product. Craftsmanship is excellent and they fit well with our wavy walls.

I'll also say their price was very reasonable compared to the quotes we got from the national chains. Lake Cabinet doesn't nickle-and-dime for 'options' like curved outside corners. They're more concerned with making the final product look great and function great.

Tom came to our house and listened to our ideas and suggested ways to improve our concepts.  He was very punctual and courteous.  We had a quote back in a few days.  We agreed to the quote and a start date.The work crew was very professional and made sure they cleaned any debris each day.  They took special care to remove and re-install our hardwood moldings properly.  The lead tile installer, Larry was especially skilled and helpful.  Larry made sure we received the best possible installation.   He suggested some changes in the layout of the back splash that we absolutely love.    Larry's assistant, Mike was very meticulous in making sure our doors fit properly and re-installed in the proper manner.  I can't say the crew was the fastest but I can say that if you hire them, you will receive the best possible installation.   I highly recommend using this company for your tile installation. 

Beautiful work, just great craftsmanship. We were working with a designer for a kitchen, bathroom and office remodel. I couldn't give them high enough marks for professionalism. Since then though, but it has changed ownership to the owner's son. He doesn't follow-through or return phone calls. We've decided to go with another company for other remodels.

Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of work done. Price was a little on the high side but we had past experience with Lake Cabinet doing a upgrade to our kitchen counters, sink, fixtures, new lighting & tile floor so we confident on what to expect quality wise. Workers are very skilled and accomodated all our requests.

They were completely professional and had a good price. They quoted exactly what I wanted, which was great especially after having a terrible experience with a different contractor.
