I have had good results here except it is expensive and there seem to be a lot of people not doing anything except standing around the cash register.

All went well

The cut and style were good, the color bad.
I color my hair to a dark auburn on natural light brown.  I am amazed at how many stylists do not really know hair color application.  When I asked to "tone down the red a little", I ended up with BLONDE highlights and my stylist thought this was OK.l  I never went back.  The price was for a top notch educated stylist and that is not what I received.

/The beautician was very friendly and courteous. My appointment began right on time, and my hair was trimmed and cleaned up to my specifications. She also dried and styled my hair after finishing the cut, which is nice given the price of the service, but this is whatmade me decide not to go back. The blow-out had way too much volume and seemed styled like something you would have seen in the '90s or '00s, with too much hairspray to finish it off. I prefer a sleeker blowout, more natural-looking blowout with some bounce or gentle wave to the ends, and the way she chose to over-style my hair made me feel like the aesthetic of the salon, or at least this stylist, is a little dated. I've since found a different stylist whose aesthetic is more in keeping with the look I prefer. That said, the cut was well executed (although it would be pretty hard to mess up a trim with a few layers) and the salon offers an enjoyable experience. Other clients may find Ladies and Gentlemen to be a perfectly acceptable salon, but if I'm going to pay $65, I prefer a stylist who seems more knowledgeable about the latest trends in hairstyling.

They have good hair products and it is clean and up to date. They are very professional. They were courteous and customer oriented and they staff interacted with each other. They have a fair price for hair services.

Kim was right on time and, as usual, I told Kim to do what she thought would look good. She did and it looked fantastic. She is so good I came in from New Hampshire to have her do it.

This review is late because I recently joined Angie's List. My son was married on September 1, 2013 and the entire female wedding party (9 people) booked appointments for hair and make-up. No one left particularly happy. They were running a half hour behind which put the entire wedding behind. All the up-do's looked like the girls just got out of bed and few needed to be redone, which put us even further behind. My personal experience was: My stylist was very young and very new to her profession. I have very short hair and wanted my hair spiked and she dried it smoothing my hair DOWN instead of up to achieve the spiked look. I asked her what she was doing and she seemed totally clueless as to the look I wanted. When it was time for make-up she asked me what I wanted. Gee, you are the expert and I would appreciate some suggestions, none of which were offered. I am fair-skinned and when she was done, I looked dead! Another stylist could see I was upset with everything done…of course, I was, I was the mother-of-the-groom of my only child and I looked terrible. She knew what I wanted and offered to redo my hair and make my make-up, but we were out of time. I paid the bill and left in tears, went home and redid my hair and added make-up to make me look less dead. I might as well have opened the window and thrown $75 out into the breeze. None of us will ever return or ever recommend this supposedly high-class salon, expense salon. Thanks for ruining my son’s wedding experience for me, an experience I will never have again.

The experience could not have been better. Relaxing, invigorating. The massage therapist seemed to sense what I needed and when I left I was totally relaxed and ready to melt into my car. I have hearing loss and she was very accommodating to my needs. I have been a customer of this salon for over 20 years and will continue to be.

It is a great place to go to get your hair done. My whole family goes, even when they are out of town the come in and go. I get my haircut every six weeks. You can do anything there but you do not tip, because they do not accept tips. They charge you a flat rate, you do not have to worry about tipping. This place is real professional. They always cut my hair the way I want it. I got tired with my previous gal whom I had gone with for 10 years, but I just decided to change. My daughter goes there. We all buy products there. They do a great job on thick curly hair and gray curly hair. They are clean. They always offer us drinks, like coffee, tea, etc. They have very versatile hours. They are there on Sundays if people need them. So, they are very flexible for peoples work schedule. They are open seven days a week. I do not have any complaints regarding their price. My hair has to be cut right or I am upset and it is worth it. She is very consistent, the girl I have. There, the girls and guys are in different phases of training and that is how the price goes, like my daughter has a signature hairstylist so she pays more than I do. So, you can go to the beginning phase people and pay less, the trainees, and then my girl, I think she is one down from signature. They are very professional. She has opened up a saloon up at Legacy Village in Beachwood and that is a pretty classy area, and she has succeeded there also. Regarding punctuality, they are right on time. I walked in one day, I looked at my hair and I walked in and I said I need a haircut. This is the gal who had the opening; so I got a haircut from her and I have stuck with her for three may be four years.

Although it may be more expensive than your average barbershop, my haircut is always expertly cut according to my wishes. i brought in a picture and it was executed with great skill. Danielle is very friendly and it is a full service including the shampoo, hot towels on my face, and the hand massage. The best thing is that tipping is not allowed so you don't have to deal with any of that awkwardness. I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time. What is not to like? I always come out feeling refreshed and looking good.

The people there are really helpful and very much care about their costumer service and they're very high quality salon. It's a great place to get your hair done and I really don't spent a lot on money on beauty things in general but going there makes me want splurge for myself.

They are pretty good. They have a very calm environment. They are very professional and friendly from the second you walk in. Their technicians are very good at what they do. They are right on time.

I like the calming effect of the salon and the general services they provide. It is very relaxing.

They are very on time and they are very much a companionable group of people. They are very nice and considerate and they are easy to work with and deal with. It is a wonderful place to go.

Overall, I really like this place, and go out of my way to stay here. Everyone is really, really friendly and accommodating, and they seem to work hard to maintain the atmosphere of a place that cares about your relaxation, appearance, and happiness. The place smells great with all the distinctive Aveda products. There is always plenty of free Aveda tea (which is awesome... I don't know what's in it, but I don't love tea and I love this tea.) There is soothing music, and every shampoo also comes with a hand and forearm massage, as well as a "mini-facial" (while the conditioner sets in your hair.) A few times a year, but with the big one at the holidays, they host an open house party where mini-versions of all the services are available to regular customers, and the place is PACKED with people getting massages, manicures, make-up sessions, and stylings. There are usually product give-aways too (in very, very small quantities. That Aveda stuff ain't cheap.) I like the Aveda products, but they are so expensive that I only buy a one or two of my favorites and then go off-brand for things like shampoo. My particular stylist is wonderful, but frankly I'm not going to tell you who she is because it's already hard enough to get scheduled with her! In total, I would recommend the salon. You could certainly get a hair cut somewhere else for much cheaper, but the quality here is consistently better, the price isn't THAT far off when you figure in no tip and the little luxuries, and I have never felt as pampered by another establishment.

This an excellent salon. You won't find one with more professional stylists. The only complaint is that their stylists tend to raise prices on a whim. I was presented with a bill for $240 for the exact same services I had previously and without any credible explanation. When I complained, they knocked off $35. BEWARE

I usually go out of state to get my hair cut and already had my appointment set for a few weeks hence. On short notice I had to participate in a photo shoot and you can imagine my panic...who would cut my hair since there was no way I could get to my usual guy! To Angie's list I went with fingers crossed. I liked what I read about this particular salon and all the reviews seemed very positive. I called and found they had two locations, one very convenient for me! The Legacy Village salon is really nice with an extremely cordial receptionist. I'd scheduled an eyebrow wax at my daughter's urging and got this done the night before my hair appointment. (They attempted to find me appointments together but a hairdresser with the level of experience I wanted was unavailable). The next morning was the haircut and I was petrified (you need to know I have been going to my other hairdresser for over 25 years....I drive 6 hours to get to him!) I was very pleased with the result and pleasantly surprised to find they have a complementary make-up session after the haircut which saved me a lot of time in preparation for the photos. I really liked the atmosphere of the salon and so also scheduled a pedicure for that evening when I was in less of a time crunch. The pedicure was heavenly and the results just wonderful!!! Great chair that you sit in...Very comfortable!! I will definitely return for a manicure!! The scent of the massage oils is pretty tempting with dim lighting and comfortable heated tables...a massage looks like a real possibility for a future treat in the future........smile

I think that they are great. They don't allow tipping. They are open seven days a week. They have very convenient hours. They are right by the cosmetology school. They are very friendly and professional. All of the styling products are earth friendly. I think they are just great.

They use Aveda products and that's what they also sell. The hair dressers are very well trained, and they have their mentors as well as have their own saloon. My husband also has his haircut there, and I always make appointments with them. The best part about them is that they do not accept tips.

The color was wonderful, loved the hand massage and the make-up (massage and makeup are part of the deal). I didn't have to wait long and was happy with the results. The down-side is the more experienced the stylist is, the more expensive your visit is.

They are fabulous and so is Shawna! They are a non-tipping salon. It is a great plus to not have to worry about that.
