Neighbor used them and liked them so I gave them a try. It was a simple job to add top soil, rockhound and seed. The job was below my expectations. They even buried a Gatorade bottle along a new comment pad I had poured. Grass seemed like poor quality. I contacted the owner and he came out and said he would make it right but he never came back. I should have just done it myself for the how much I paid.

I hired JLC to redesign my front yard for more curb appeal after I recently purchased the home. The workmanship and value for the work was excellent. I will be continuing all my landscaping work with JLC. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

I recently had JLC work on my landscaping and I cannot say enough great things about them! I have worked with other landscaping companies, but they don’t even come close to how knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, etc. JLC is. The owner, Jeff, and his team are the only ones I will ever recommend to people.

Steps look better than they did before rebuilding. After the company's second attempt at rebuilding the walkway, it is supported by lumpy mounds of concrete above the grass line that look awful. Patio is not level, still slopes into house in areas. I was assured that after rebuild I would not have to pull weeds on patio & walk. Not so! Walkway is COVERED with healthy, green grass growing between pavers. Patio sprouts weeds just as before rebuild. One portion of patio collapsed. Owner came out & examined it & told me it was animal damage. He promised to come out first thing the next spring & correct it, but after that I would be required to sign off on all work. Patio is also sinking around edges by end caps. Company never came to do repair. I called 6 different contractors to come & evaluate the patio & walk. All 6 agreed that patio was not rebuilt correctly. Identified "rolling", or multiple areas of unlevel, still sloping toward house. End caps stacked incorrectly, and not cut correctly to fit together properly. Steps incorrectly built. And the supposed animal damage? All contractors agreed that the collapsing pavers were not due to an animal! All agreed that sloping, & water flow has washed away the base. All agreed that walkway was not rebuilt correctly & that the patio was not done with any quality. Side supports on sidewalk not done in correct, professional manner. Brick pattern on patio is not lined up straight; looking at it, it curves right and left. This rebuild took about 3 seasons all told, and I am left with a product that doesn't look as good as it did before JLC did their work. Work not completed in 2011, didn't come back early the next season to finish. Due to the walkway not being correctly rebuilt the first time (it fell apart on a corner edge) with this company, they came and rebuilt it in the 2013 season. That's when the lumpy mounds of concrete appeared. I have been treated like a bothersome client by this company. I made the biggest mistake in judgement by hiring them and paying the final amount due before the work was complete. BIG, sad lesson learned!

We had interviewed 5 Angie's List referrals and were impressed with Jeff Cerny's horticultural background & knowledge  and thought his creative landscaping ideas  best coordinated with our needs and timetable for the landscaping project.  He was a pleasure to work with and we found his crews to be hard-working and professional and the entire project was delivered on time and within our budget.   JLC Landscaping, Inc. nicely coordinated with our Angie's List tree/stump removal company resulting in the entire project occuring and coordinating harmoniously between early April and late-May, 2013.  All the quotes, contracts and billing were  in writing and most professional.  We were pleased with the outcome and now have a beautiful, park-like backyard with luscious grass and shrubs that will always have something in bloom throughout the summer and fall -- just what we wanted!
