Grand Reflection, LLC

In some areas my deck had too many prior coats of deck stain.   In other areas it needed to be restained.  Although it was not yet peeling, it did not make sense to add another coat of stain.  I tried stripping it myself but after two applications and powerwashing there was still considerable stain to be removed. 

Grand Reflections applied a PH balancer to neutralize the effect of the stripper I used.  They then hand-sanded with palm sanders and when done the deck looked almost new.  They then hand-brushed in the stain.

The work was done by Jim, the owner, and one co-worker.  They were extremely professional, showed up on time, worked diligently throughout the day, and paid attention to detail.  Jim also answered all my questions and explained in detail what he was going to do and why.  

I would absolutely use Grand Reflection again.

We were very pleased with the service provided.  The owner was able to visit our home and give an accurate estimate within a day or two of our initial phone call.  He was able to schedule the work within a week of the estimate.  The owner personally performed the work.  He was courteous and professional, mindful while walking in and out of the house, moving furniture to access windows, etc.  He pointed out some potential seal issues in a few of our windows.  The whole house took about a day and a half.  We decided to leave the screens out for the winter, so he neatly stacked them for winter storage for us.  We will likely be returning customers in the spring.
