D & L Overhead Door

The electronic eyes were replaced and the garage door opener works great. Their were recommendations made to further enhance the proper opening and closing that I will have completed in the Spring.

Dave came out to assess the broken spring and rendered the door usable while we awaited the springs and installation. Our garage door is commercial size so we knew we had to wait for the delivery of the springs. Dave let me know that he would be away when the springs are due in but assured me that the installation will go well with his team.

 The springs came in about 2 weeks later and we received a call for the install. The installation team arrived promptly, installed the springs without incident and recommended the rollers be changed out since they are looking worn. We agreed to the additional $100.00 for the rollers. They did a great job! We recommend them to anyone needing door service and will definitely hire them again!.

I called to make an appoinment on Monday 07/23/12 with D and L. They were in the middle of a job and said they would return my call ASAP. Two to three hours later they contacted me and we set-up an appointment for the next day, which was for Tuesday 07/24/12. They said they would be at my sons house between 11 AM and 2 PM on Tuesday 07/24/12 to complete the repair. Around noon the day of the appointment I called them to inform them that I was at my sons waiting for them and to contact me on my cell. After waiting until 2:30 PM I left frustrated when I received a phone call from D and L about them being late and tied up with a job and could not return my call about being late for our appointment. We agreed to a later appoinment in the day around 3:30 or 4:00 PM, however they did not show up until 4:45 PM to correct the problem.

Overall it went well. They came right away and got the door ordered. They completed the job in about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. They cleaned up well after themselves also.

Dave arrived on time, completed the job quickly and the garage door now works great. He also placed a key pad outdoors for us and it works great too. He is a very nice man who did a terrific job. With all the inclement weather it's great to have a working garage door opener! I also like that he guarantees his work.
