Tim from Burrier just left after performing our pre-winter checkup. I can't tell you how pleased I am with his work and friendly attitude. He was very meticulous while cleaning and checking out our roof-top heating/AC unit. So glad that I found Burrier a few years back. After over $1000, and over a month, my Manitowoc Ice Machine is still not working properly. Burrier has sent out two different technicians, who are supposedly certified to work on these type of ice machines. The original diagnosis was a bad water pump. The tech took apart almost the entire unit, when that wasn't necessary. He installed the new pump and spent more time chit-chatting and being unprofessional than he did putting the unit back together. After he was paid, he left only for me to discover that the machine was not working properly. It would make a batch of ice and kick itself into the needs service mode. A few hours later I realized that water was pouring out of the inlet and outlet, all over the electrical components. The technician did not tighten the clamps! I made a call to the company the next morning, they sent the tech out again who diagnosed bad sensors. When the parts came in they came out to install them. It was the same tech. He again was unprofessional. The parts were installed and he claimed it made 3 batches of ice. He was paid and left. I realized after he left that it did not make a single batch. The ice grid was hot to the touch and the machine just kept running attempting to make ice until it kicked itself off into service mode. Another call was made. The tech came back out with the service manager. Who was dismissive to my questions and continuously called me "dear" in a very misogynistic manner. After looking at the unit for awhile, he tried to tell me that the machine cannot handle our water pressure. Which is a lie, as this model can handle a maximum of 80 psi. When I informed him of this he decided it must be the compression valve that is bad. I spoke with the owner of the company who agreed to replace that and eat the cost, to attempt to make this entire situation right. He informed me that the compression valve is $700, which it is not. I can purchase it for $151.05. Later that same day the owner told me they spoke with Manitowoc and that their representative believes that the compressor is bad. The owner claims that part is $1500, which upon my own research I discovered I could purchase it for a little over $500. The owner then decided that he would give me a similar machine he has "laying around" instead of repairing mine. After multiple calls, and no return calls, I am then told that that machine is not working and that isn't an option any more. We agree to a 100% refund. Which would have been acceptable. But his 100% refund is apparently only $400, not the $1000 I have spent already! This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and incapable of repairing or maintaining the machines they claim to specialize in. Upon doing my own research I came to discover, my unit has an onboard computer which one could simply hook up a diagnostic tester to and it will diagnose any problem with the machine. I fail to understand how a company who is certified to work on these machines would not just do that, my guess is they do not know that that is an option. I now am out over $1000 just in payments to them, which does not include the bags of ice I have had to purchase every day for over a month, or the hourly wages of the employees who needed to be present while these so called techs "repaired" the ice machine. To top it off, the machine still does not work.

I have two ac unit that are not blowing cold air. Burrier was recommended to me by my condo maintenance team. It was hot in the beginning of July, so I gave the company the benefit of the doubt for it taking three calls before they actually came and looked at my ac units. They came on 7/17/2019 and determined the units where bad and needed replaced. They charged me $90 and said the office would get me a quote on replacing the units. Its now 9/29/2019 and I never heard a word from them.

Repair went very well. A/C unit is old and tech couldn't determine what brand it was but made a few calls and got the answers he needed to get the repair done. Took about 1/2 hour.

My sales person, Tom, took the time to discuss the various option available for all three items that needed to be replaced. He took time to explain the pros and cons of each, pricing and installation. In the end, he let me make my own decisions with no pressure. The installation was efficient and everything was left as clean or cleaner than it was before. Tom came by after the install was complete and explained how everything works. An excellent overall experience.

The sales representative Tom was great at explaining what had to be done and what the cost would be. He obviously knows the business very well. The two man crew removed the old unit, installed the new one and cleaned up everything. They were professional, courteous and explained every step of the project. They all had a good sense of humor and were a pleasure to work with.

We could never understand why our bedroom was so cold in the winter and so hot in the summer. Through the years we've lived here we had contacted several other companies because of the problem none had satisfied us. When the service man from Burrier came, he did a through job, found that our duct work had never been installed properly. He had to open the duct work to see what the problem was, and discovered that the duct to the bedroom was never connected to the furnace. He attached the duct to the main duct and he fixed the problem!! He cleaned up everything (something our previous HAVC never did), he was courteous and knowledgable.
I would rehire Burrier anytime.

I didn't hire BURRIER SERVICE CO INC directly. We had a contractor who was remodeling our home, and Burrier worked for them and was their sub-contractor. They left and never turned the plumbing back on, and it was in the winter. We went to turn it on, for the heat to work. We couldn't figure out why we couldn't get any heat and they noticed Burrier had never turned it back on. So he turned it on and then it started leaking water on the floor. So they called him and did some things and put a bucket in front of it for the rest of the night. They told us to call them if there were more problems the next day. We assumed since they were the ones that cut out the baseboard heating and we didn't have any problems with it before that, that they would come and repair the leak for free, since they're the ones who caused it. So they came back out and said it would cost us about $800.00 for them to fix it. We told them no, and that it was fine until they worked on it. So they said that was our choice, and charged us $150.00 just for coming out that day. We weren't even supposed to pay them -- our contractor was. But the contractor didn't pay them, and they started coming to us to try to get paid. They stated they tested the boiler before they left and that it was working perfectly, but they hadn't even turned it back on before they left. They had nine weeks to be able to put a lien on our house for the money, but they lied and said they were out here later than they were, so that they could put a lien on it. My lawyer took care of that part, but they said they're still going to sue us for the money. It's not fair and my contractor is who should have taken care of this.

From quotation to installation, training and follow up our experience was first class. We had several quotes, Tom Shannon was prompt, professional, well informed and followed up to answer those few questions he did not know. We selected Burrier for a good but not the lowest price because Tom instilled confidence. When we ordered the wait for installation was a little longer than we wanted. Tom called ahead to confirm, the crew showed up promptly, the install went as promised and when they left there was no sign they had been in our house, except our house is comfortable everywhere. We are very satisfied.

They are very good about advising me with their knowledge of the heat pump. They said that I needed service once a year to keep it working efficiently. They are always prompt and when you call for an appointment they are responsive to get back with you.
