BURGER'S ACE HARDWARE

Avoid going here at all costs! The manager/owner Greg is a misogynistic, awful man. I dropped off a screen that was slightly bent, Greg told me they could fix it no problem in a few hours. Fast forward 3 weeks, we have heard nothing from the store so my mom goes up to ask about the screen. The screen had not been fixed and was actually damaged further, with the corner completely broken in two pieces. Things escalate and Greg became physical aggressive and called her a “stupid f*cking b*tch” in front of all of his employees and customers. Absolutely unacceptable business practices. I generally try to shop small business but you are way better off going to Lowe’s or Home Depot.

My grandmother's lamp's cord had gotten brittle and broke/started sparking.  The lamp is 60-70 years old (she's been gone over 40 years).  I took it to Burger's near their closing time last night.  They said they'd call me with the price within 2 weeks.  I left the lamp.  Early this afternoon Dennis called me and quoted me the $28 unless they find that the socket is in bad shape, in which case the price would be $44 as they would need to replace it for safety.  I approved the repair.  By 5:00 Dennis called me to say the job was done and the socket was OK.  I picked up the lamp around 6:00......less than 24 hours after dropping it off there!!!!!!!
