The Extraction, with removal of carpet padding, pergo-like kitchen and dining flooring, and any wet baseboards ,was successful. The drying worked in 1 day. That was fantastic because the total estimate I got from your rep (is on small torn sheet, included). Wow! He explained to me this price was the most it would be. It is based on a 3 day dry. For the work to begin I was asked to pay ½ of estimate which was equal to $1694.00 and paid by check 1689 (copy enclosed). Credit cards weren’t accepted. Just based on the check, look how your company is spelled. I had no written documents with your info on it. Just that little slip of paper. Well more great news from tech: what was quoted as a 3 day job, became a 1 day job. 1. The water was clean from a broken supply line 2. The tech didn’t have to remove any drywall 3. Didn’t have to drill many holes. So 3 day estimate $3888.00 , but only used 1 day. $3888.00/3 = $1296.00 I already paid $1694.00 est. which is already more than the quoted price, by $398.00. Which is also greater than the 8% County Tax. Based upon your on-site representatives: They represented this contract estimate as a 3 Day Dry. .It logically follows that if only 1 drying day is used then that is how much I owe. Take another look at the numbers. BTW I have no specifics on everything you did, a pretty minimal contract and just a note I didn’t receive my signed contract copy back until next day. An acceptable response to this letter is a receipt showing the job as paid in full. Thank you for your attention to this matter. BUT I HOPE IT HELPS OTHERS. OH, BTW THIS IS PRACTICALLY THE FARTHEST SERVPRO FROM PROPERTY . THEIR FRANCHISE WAS FIRST ONE LISTED IN SEARCH.
