PETERS PROFESSIONAL LANDSCAPING

It was obvious that there was something wrong within 6 months from when they put in the draining pipes. It took a couple of years for them to come back out. We had to call them repeatedly and they wouldn’t return our phone calls. They have fixed the problem now but it has not rained enough not to check if it has actually been fixed. We would not be using them again because it was hard to get to them for two years.

The work on the patio went well.  The workers were prompt and very polite.  They were good workers.  The grading of the yard seemed to be rushed.  The yard was graded and seeded and strawed even though there were many rough spots with cloddy soil.  We were told they would return after the ground had time to settle to do any necessary filling in for trouble spots.  By spring, we saw that the initial drainage problem had been solved, but the regrading left us with an even worse problem--an area that remains swampy days after a rainfall and a low area along the fence.  We called Chris to come out to look which he did, but the problems haven't been addressed.There was not a follow-up to address any settling problems either. The patio looks beautiful even though we have some small low spots that collect water as well.  We realize that the poor weather this spring and summer have been a problem and are still hoping to hear from Chris.  If he addresses the problem, we would definitely hire his company again.  If he doesn't, then we would not. So, as of right now, I would have to check the "would not use in the future" box. I hope to be able to change that in the future. That would also cause us to regrade a couple items in the Ratings sectionas well.

The workers for the company were very good. One in particular tried very hard to make everything run smoothly. The trees were planted, the shrubs put in. After the worker quit the company the owner would not respond to calls or complaints. The owner of the company was difficult to reach, only answered one call and promised to fix the complaint issue. One of the pine trees they planted died. He didn't honor the year warranty. He just ignored our phone calls and didn't replace the tree. Very unprofessional. I will never use his company again, nor recommend it to anyone else.
