Mike was wonderful to work with! The work took 3 weeks to complete. Mike understood my needs in preparing the home for sale. He always communicated with me, whether it be by phone or text. Mike and his son were always professional & polite. I was extremely happy with the end result. I will hire Mike again for our new home!

Owner was responsive via phone, returned my call right away. He was on vacation but vowed he would call me upon return and schedule an appt to give estimate. He followed through on that - no issues. Came to house, looked at work (and there was a lot of work he could have potentially gotten from us!) and gave prices, which were extremely competitive. He did follow up with written estimate but was a bit late with that. However, upon receiptof estimate I immediately called him to schedule the work and he put me off. I have called twice and emailed once - have not had any response.

Murar was extremely flexible with the other remodeling that was being done at the time and very reasonably priced. We were very happy with the results!

Very good job, but he did not return

After several attempts to connect by phone, we set up an appointment for which Mike was a no-show. We attempted to set up other appointments, but it was difficult because his schedule was full. We finally set up a second appointment. Mike came to look at our problems, but he didn't have all of his equipment. He said the job should be pretty easy and he would stop out with his equipment and fix the roof some time in the next week. We have never seen him or heard from him since that time.

We contacted Mike in late June, and requested an estimate, along with estimates from two other companies. Mike's estimate was less than half of the other estimates. We then checked his references, which were great. We was busy for about a month, which was fine with us. When he arrived, he got straight to work, and would have completed everything in 2 1/2 days, which was his estimate. Unfortunately, on of the shower doors we had ordered was damaged, so he couldn't complete everything at that time. It took 3-4 weeks to get the replacement door, and we had some scheduling delays afterward, but that was really our fault. He and his partner(s) did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves afterward.

He does a good job and reasonably priced. I have had a lot of work done by him in the last year and spent $20000 on the same. He has done painting, basement remodel, etc. I like his services and will use the same in future.

Mike and his assistant did an excellent job. They were prompt, quick, professional and clean. I would absolutely hire them again.

No negatives about his service

They were prompt in getting back to us and I appreciate that. If there is a need, I would use them again in the future too.

The price they quoted us was about $3100. They were very punctual and very professional, but it did not seem like the right company for our job.

My experience with them was excellent. We picked up the material for the work. Their pricing was better than the other estimates, I received. The punctuality was good. They were professional. I can trust them to come in the house, even when we were not at home.

My experience with Mike was so excellent. At the end of each day he was here, you would not know there was any work done -- except the finished products. He had to reverse engineer how to pull the wires to retrofit two of the fans and it was amazing to see how he could do it with no visible damage. While he was working, we had an animal in the attic -- which I got an exterminator to deal with -- but Mike got up on the roof to fix the possible entry hole (and fallen siding). He did not charge me for this. As a side benefit, I got to pick his brain about a bathroom remodel that I'll hire him for the in spring and he offered amazing solutions. Finally, one of the days he was here, my 6 year old was home all day and Mike (and his wife and partner Jackie) were SO accommodating of a child both in the way and trying to help.

The experience with Mike was wonderful. We had issues with the original plans from Home Depot and Mike was able to still make our kitchen work with what was purchased. He always came when he said he would and was very trustworthy. He even helped supervise the installation of the granite countertops by another company.

Mike is always prompt and can be trusted when you are away from home. He is always pleasant and I do not know of any home remodeling he cannot do. His prices are unbeatable; you won't be sorry!

This looks like nothing you would find in any furniture store. Mike is very trustworthy and can build any project. Basements, flooring, plumbing, electrical, drywall, you name it!
