MIKE'S EXCAVATING

They came out to snake and camera our sewer due to backing up and found that our exterior pipes were cracked due to tree roots. They told us they would be back out in a few week depending on weather but to replace the pipes and put in a back-flow pipe. As soon as they could they came out and did the work. They kept me updated on what was going . They are were friendly and professional. Would definitely use them again.

They were wonderful. They came out last September to do the work and it costed us about $8500 in total. They were very good with letting you know exactly what they were doing and what was coming net. We also have driveway issues so they were very good about telling us what might be the best way to handle the plumbing. They were very nice people and they cleaned up after themselves. They put plywood sheeting down so that they didn't dig up the yard with the back hoe and the dump truck and they offered to dig our shrubs out to save our flowers.

At first I was not happy that my driveway had to be dug through. Not Mike's fault, he located the break acurately. But as it turned out, I do not have a mud area in my lawn that has to be repaired in the spring. I only have one block (section of concrete) that has to be replaced in the spring. I was lucky that my problem was limited to this area.

My problem occurred the weekend before hurricaine Sandy. Despite the flood of calls, Mike took care of me on the Monday after hurricaine Sandy. I called on Monday (when rain from Sandy was just starting), had the line scoped on Wednesday, dug and repaired the following Monday.
Mike almost started the job on Friday but that weekend was trick or treat and we didn't want an open excavation while that was going on.
I was also lucky that my sewer was not totally blocked and backing up into the basement.

Also, utilities came and flagged their lines. If I had tried to guess where the sewer lines were, I would have guessed that they were in the same trench as the water supply line which ran directly to the street.
I would have dug up most of the yard trying to find the lines.

All work was completed with professionalism from the administrative staff to the workers providing the service. They arrived on time, supervisor was on hand to manage/supervise, they took the time to review and explain so that the customer understands the whole process (step by step) to include what we need to do after the service is completed. The service was completed in a timely manner (before the deadline). After completion, they shared pictures on the process.
The contract was clear, they offered reassurance that they have Workman's Compensation Insurance and if there were any extra cost they would get our approval first. All materials and workmanship was guaranteed. Customer service was excellent. They have been in business for 20 years and have a good working relationship with the City of Cleveland enabling them to get work permits and inspections done in an orderly and timely fashion.
I am grateful and appreciate there style of workmanship.

I WAS SO HAPPY TO FIND MIKE'S EXCAVATING BECAUSE I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS FINDING A COMPANY THAT WOULD DO A JOB THIS BIG.
