Instead of buying a new insulated window, I replaced the glass. Great product and customer service. Will definitely use this company again.

They're on time. They got us a quote within a reasonable amount of time. They were professional when they came and left. They cleaned everything up. I couldn't ask for anything better.

They were awesome. They were very good. They did a wonderful job. The guy that came didn't pressure us. He told us exactly how they do it and when it could be done. Everything was done on time. They were clean and very efficient. Their price is good. We checked around and they had the decent price. We heard from other people that they were good and we took other peoples word for it and we made the right decision.

They were very efficient. They were pretty quick in ordering the windows and coming and installing them. They told me that they don’t do residential anymore and do only commercial.

They told me these were quality windows so they charged me for premium windows and after going into this with Allside, I found out there was no warranty. These were discards, defective windows that don't lock. I also paid for a more expensive lock on the door and they gave me a cheap model. The representative got nasty with me and said there was nothing they could do. They were rude and I got the impression that they had filed for bankruptcy. Apparently I was their first victim.

Because it was a windy day and they demolished all the windows first before installing the windows, dust and debris went everywhere. The demolition was messy inside (they cleaned up okay on the outside...hope for a day with no breeze if you get windows). The windows were impressive and the installers knew what they were doing, but they became crabby when they determined it was going to take longer than expected. They left the interior of one window (the last window) without mortar on a portion that was supposedly hard to reach. That was disappointing mainly because the lack of effort. It was clear that the unmortared window was my problem, and I don't like that. The plus side: The windows are well made and an incredible value. For what we paid, it was well worth it because the windows add instant security and energy efficiency, compared to what was there before. I can deal with a mess; I don't know what to do with a partially unmortared window. And that is why the service is not "exceptional."

They cleaned up well after themselves. They were neat and clean. Our water wasn't even on when they started work, and they brought their own water! We were just really pleased!

Our only problem was with the salesman. He measured, called with a quote and then called back later and raised the price nearly $200. On the day of the install, the installers said we really didn't want what the sales rep had spec'd...it would have left the inside completely unfinished. They went back to their shop, made up completely new windows and came back in about an hour to install. From there, everything was OK.

They were prompt and called in advance of arriving. They removed all the windows first and then put the new ones in. The 5 windows were pre-made with the vents, so they just needed to mortar them into place. The other 2 were just openings the size of a cement block and they just removed what was there and mortared in just vents. (This was for a fruit/cold cellar area.) They cleaned up the entire area and took everything with them. It took about 4 hours total.

Everything from start to finish was very satisfactory. I knew what I wanted so when the company rep. came for the order, it went smoothly. The installation was scheduled at my convenience on my day off. The installers (Steve and Eric) were prompt, efficient, and left everything clean and tidy. I LOVE my windows!

We "interviewed" several companies before hiring MGB. We we able to get an appointment within a couple of days. The company representative Bill Jr. arrived on time, provided a thorough explanation of the work to be performed, showed us various types of glass block and colors of vents. We received a coupon at the Home and Garden Show, which they honored, and essentially provided us a substantial savings. The workers arrived on time and completed the work in about 1.5 hours and did a good job cleaning up. The experience was smooth from start to finish; no complaints.

The windows were delivered and the bathroom ones were not made correctly but were remade and brought over from the warehouse in the afternoon. The vent was in the wrong place. The windows were installed and a service man came back a few days later and replaced the vent. Everything worked out fine and the bathrooms came out very beautifully - they replaced old, rotting sills with marble.

Everything went well. It took two guys about 3 1/2 hours for the install. I inspected all windows, inside and out, when they were finished. One window was missing some mortar on the outside, which they fixed to my satisfaction.

All of the people from estimate to completion were polite and gracious. There were a few roadblocks. I ordered clear windows. Six weeks later, the day before scheduled installation, a manager came to my house unannounced to tell me that the windows that I ordered had been discontinued months ago. He did offer an alternative. The next day I called to say that I really wanted clear windows and could you try to find enough for 5 windows. No problem. On the day of installation, two young men showed up in an unmarked van. They didn't identify themselves until I asked. They installed 4 windows as the 5th didn't have a dryer vent. Second visit, the dryer vent was on the wrong side. Third visit, 2 very experienced craftsmen/installers repaired the poor caulk job, replaced the loose locks on all 4 windows installed the dryer vent window and crawled under my deck to properly re-mortar 2 windows. I am very happy with the end result.

The workers started at approximately 8:00 a.m and were finished earlier than I anticipated. I forgot exactly what time they finished but I was able to go and do what I needed since I had the whole day off. The glass block windows look great.

What a pleasant experience to deal with a company who does what and when they say. Thank you Angie's List for finding them. This has been the third experience having to hire someone. Your list is three for three. Thanks.

They were easy to deal with over the phone. Estimator came out in timely fashion. Gave us a quote and helped us choose style. Installers came on time, did work efficiently, cleaned up and left in a timely fashion. Window looks great. We are very pleased, once again, with their work.
