I was referred to L and A Plumbing and Heating and Cooling by a co-worker. I first called a family member for a referral and I was given the run around by this referral. My family member referral referred us to someone else who advise it would cost appx $1200.00 to put a clean out in our front yard and they were not even going to attempt to clearthe blockage through the downstairs toilet. So I called L and A Plumbing. I spoke with Ed Long. He was very professional and understanding. He did advise that there was a possiblity that he may need to do the clean out in the front yard but he was willing to attempt the downstair toilet first. (of course he came over and assessed the situation before he advised of anything.) So long story short L and A Plumbing was able to clear the blockage (please be advised just because the product says it is flushable it probably isn't) through the downstair toilet and saved me over $800.00 dollars. The plumbing is working fabulously and we are happy customers. We even have a the front yard clean out on a list of things to do because of the great service from Land A Plumbing. I cannot say enough on what a great experience this was from what seemed like a horrible nightmare of costs. A++++

Great experience. I called Ed on a Monday morning and explained that my water heat was 15 years old, leaking and not lighting. Ed and I agreed it needed to be replaced. We discussed brand and capacity. I went off and did research. I called Ed with questions. Ed went off and did research. Through all this, Ed was patient and polite. He promptly returned all calls. At the end of the day, Ed gave me a price and we set a time for the install. Ed's son Jeff (accompanied by helper Jake) arrived on time the next day. Jeff un-installed my old 40 gallon tank and installed my new 50 gallon tank. They took extra time to set the new tank evenly on my 100-year old, crumbling, half dirt/half concrete basement floor. Only after covering my floor with a protective layer of cardboard, Jake hauled my old water heater out to the truck. Once the install was done, Jake cleaned up thoroughly. Jeff showed me the water heater controls and the pilot light setup and made sure I had all the paper work I needed. Jeff and Jake were courteous and professional. By Tuesday afternoon I had a new hot water heater and as a bonus a cleaner mud room and basement stair well.
