Very well, only took about 1 1/12 hours to complete job. Good clean up. Removed garden pots to prevent damage and was very careful not to disturb anything in the yard. Price was best of three contractors I contacted. Gave a 5% senior discount as well. Definitely recommend Kevin's work.

I contracted to have a large tree cut down in my back yard leaving the stump about 2 ft above ground to become the base of a bench. This was indicated on the quote. However, Kevin forgot to tell all his workers and they cut it down to ground level. I was very disappointed as I had already planned the landscaping in that area. I didn't even get an apology, just an "oh well". In addition, his vehicles (bucket truck, dump truck and chipper) broke my concrete driveway in two different places. He tried to shrug it off saying it was already cracked when it was not. I gave him the opportunity to repair these two places but the job was so poor (gravely and not smooth and not level with remainder of driveway) that it was laughable, which is what the insurance adjuster did. When I told Kevin that I was not thrilled with how the driveway repair turned out, he got very angry at me, slammed his equipment down into his truck, called me a "pain in the ***" 7-8 times, gave me the finger and said F-U as he was driving away. Very unprofessional! All subsequent phone conversations were very hostile and threatening on his part. I ended up getting 3 quotes to replace this 30 ft pad and picked the middle-priced one. Kevin's insurance adjuster priced it the same and the work was done. I received a check from the insurance company, paid the concrete company and paid Kevin. His original quote was for $750 but I deducted $180 for the stump grinding that I did not plan on. I also deducted an additional $70 because of his extremely rude and unprofessional manner. I understand that accidents happen. These problems could have been handled in a calm and respectful manner avoiding lots of stress, emotion and turmoil. However, Kevin never once showed any remorse for his and his workers actions. I will never use his services again nor can I recommend him to anyone.

Kevin and his team came right away. They did everything exactly as my husband had asked, and did a great job! KJ's has done other work for us, as well as many of our friends. He is reasonable, prompt, and honest. We will definitely hire them again. Thank you, Kevin!

Our residential lot has many older trees on it. We needed overall trimming and several trees removed. Kevin called us back promptly after our initial phone call, arrived on the day and time previously agreed upon for the estimate and returned our phone call before hiring him for the work. Kevin and his crew arrived at our home promptly on the morning work was to begin. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were polite. They cleaned up after themselves. And the estimated cost was the same as the final bill. What a pleasure!
