JIM'S LANDSCAPING-SNOWPLOWING

Jim's Landscaping Service. This is a review of my dealings with Jim Williams (owner) and Jim's Landscaping Service. Jim Williams using the business phone number of Jim's Landscape Service eBay has a member ID of borg010 registered with eBay and listed on eBay a Trailer Storage Cage Landscape Box with a starting bid of $.99. I was the only bidder so I won it for the starting bid of $.99. I paid immediately and requested information to pick up the item. A few days went by before he contacted me be not committing to any pick up information or giving me his address. 4 days after the auction was ended and paid for he sent me an eBay message stating me the following: “hi Gregg I just got home and niticed the storage box is missing do u take it? if u didn't then its missing so ill cancle the auction and refund ur .99.” Before I responded to the message to conform whether I had picked it up or not (which he knew I could not have since he never gave me his address) he canceled the transaction and initiated a refund which indicated to me the box was not missing after all. I responded: “You didn't give me your address so I could pick it up. You didn't put it out by the curb to make someone think it was being thrown out did you? If not, file a police report. Even though it sold for only $.99 it was worth much more than that. Also see what the retail price was for it and contact your home owners insurance for a replacement cost.” To which he replied: “Auction was canceled and refunded.” I replied: Jim, “I've been in eBay for a long time and this situation isn't unique. The item sold for less than you wanted so you say it is gone and ask me if I had picked it up when you know I do not have your address. You then cancel the auction before waiting for my reply on whether I had picked it up. Needless to say, negative feedback will be left and I will be reporting this issue to eBay.” The next day I did a google search for his full name and phone number and found his business name and address. One day later I drove by the business address which appears to be his home address and from the street I could see the very box I had paid for and won that he lied about being missing. This shows the complete lack of integrity of Jim Williams which should give anyone pause when considering entering in any kind of business transaction with him or Jim's Landscaping Service. Just think for a moment, if he will lie and back out of a transaction when it does not go the way he wants, what will happen if in the middle of a job thing's don't go quite the way he wants?????? Beware!!!
