"The windshield we used for the Member's installation was an OEM Acura part, with a list price substantially higher than the aftermarket part installed by Safelite. We used all the appropriate moldings specified for replacement by Acura to complete the job. Our installation was performed to Acura specifications and the job was invoiced to (with all components preapproved by) the insurance company per their pricing parameters. The Member was only responsible for his insurance deductible. We felt badly that his windshield was broken again so soon after we had replaced it, and were disappointed we did not have the opportunity to deliver that same level of quality the second time that he really deserved."
