Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
Despite the amount of time it took from quoting a repair price to finishing the job and getting the earrings back, Gems Etc. did a brilliant job of repairing, polishing, and strengthening these earrings. As the owner told me, "All jewelry is sentimental, or no one would bother to clean or repair it."
I realized later that the extra time they took guaranteed me of a perfect job.
At first I thought the price was a bit high, but the owner would not let anyone but his most experienced repair person (I guess someone called a bench man) even attempt to work on these earrings. Even though that required a longer wait, I was most thankful that the owner insisted. As I said, the earrings came back to me looking as beautiful as the day I purchased them more than 25 years ago. I did not at all regret the cost once I saw the quality of the work.
Based on Gems Etc.'s care and concern for perfection, I am now sure I can wear these happily for another 25 years.
