Our roof was leaking during below zero weather when ice was dripping off the roof. Since the roof is not that old, we were very concerned and contacted Carpentry Doc in the fall, based on their report on Angie's List. They called us back in a reasonable time and made an appointment to come out and check on the roof. (We had contacted another roofer previous to this, and they came out walked around the outside of the house when we were not home, and gave us an estimate on the work. Unbelievable--they didn't even check out our roof or meet with us!) Carpentry Doc went into the attic and based on what we had told him -- and what he saw -- recommended a plan of attack: redistributing the insulation, opening up the roof soffit vents which were covered with insulation, and fixing the bathroom fan/vent that should have been venting to the outside of the roof. We received the estimate within a few days and scheduled the work. They arrived on time, worked with us on availability of family members, and finished the work in a timely manner. All representatives of this company that we met were very friendly, nice, and respectful of our home. They cleaned up after themselves - both after looking at the attic for the estimate, and after the work was actually completed. After thinking we would need a new partial roof, Carpentry Doc really came through for us! We would definitely call them again.

He was quick and efficient, and cleaned up very well. He did exactly what he said he would do. He came in under any other quote that I had for my roof. He is a fireman and he is trustworthy, effective, reliable and competent.
