 + 0 moreIt went well, no problems. They removed the phone service as requested. We removed this to go with a cheaper option, We still have the high speed internet which works really good and is reliable (only it's a little pricey).

Description of Work: I live in Ashland and recently had cable installed. I want to make it clear that I'm very familiar with trades type work and expect a lot from tradespeople. The subcontractor that Armstrong hired to connect my cable and determine which coax were connected to tvs was TERRIBLE! First off he did not have the proper tools to tone out the coax and determine what line was what, he used a small tv of mine to determine signal, second, he took no extra effort to neatly connect and affix the splitter he installed to the plywood board I installed for that purpose. Lastly, he drove off my driveway and into my yard and left tire depressions while leaving and after he left I found the junction box cover removed at the utility access in my side yard. Had I not replaced it it would have filled up with snow and caused issues for me and my neighbors! Bottom line, Armstrong does not do a good job screening their subcontractors. I'm not impressed with them at this point, they need to understand that whoever comes to my home to represent them is an ambassador of Armstrong cable and right now my perception of them is less than professional.

 + -1 moreThey scheduled the appointment from 8am to 12pm on a weekday. I took the day off and they didn't show. I called them to ask on the estimated time that they would arrive and the answer: sometime today. Their answer for missing the appointment is: we got really busy and we will give you a $20.00 credit on your account. Miss a whole day of work and here is $20.00 dollars for that.
Description of Work: They are suppose to come out and provide service to their cable system.
