We used Alban water last year for backflow testing with no problem. Dave Alban called set up an appointment for this year in April. I wasn't home when the service was performed, but left a check for $50.00 and the paperwork in my door for him to mail into my county's sanitary engineering department as he asked me to do. He left a receipt and my check had been cashed. In June, I received a letter from the sanitary engineering department reminding me to send in the paperwork before July 31st or else my water would be tuned off. I called Mr. Alban THREE times with no returned phone call. In fear of having my water turned off, I ended up calling a reliable plumber to do the testing. He told us our system failed and needed to be replaced. Never was I told our system failed by Mr. Alban - I assumed it passed as the receipt was left and check cashed. Not only was I scammed out of $50.00, but lied to as well.
