• I am difficult to work with, and have high expectations and an eye for detail. Clyde was the most patient professional I have ever worked with. He gave me an original estimate and no matter how many things I changed, mostly and quot;add-on'sand quot; the final price was a few hundred dollars less than his original estimate. He is a craftsman, no other word to describe him. Every single day he cleaned up all the mess even though we were not yet living in the house. He sourced things he didn't even know existed until I and quot;wornderedand quot; if they existed. Our kitchen has an irregular shape with odd angles, and Clyde squeezed every square inch to give me what I wanted. It is truly beautiful and finely crafted, but more importantly built to last and functions like a well oiled machine. Clyde customized every interior space to my exact specifications based on the measurement of my kitchen utensils, baking sheets, blenders and food processors; as well as my toaster to keep my counter tops free of gadgets. Literally, there isn't an inch of wasted space. Clyde is a problem solver and a solution finder. My only regret is that my husband won't let me remodel our master bathroom and laundry room...yet.

We tore out our entire bathroom, floor to ceiling. We had an idea of what we wanted in cabinets and based on a recommendation from a decorator asked Clyde to provide a quote. His quote was WAY less than any other quote we received. Clyde came out and measured and provided a quote in no time at all. Then we had all the other work done, floors replaced, shower, walls, soffit removed, etc. The final touch was the cabinet installation. Clyde was on time and ready the day we needed him. Not only had he matched our existing wood work color perfectly but the cabinets were/are beautiful. His attention to detail was amazing. Our contractor was so impressed that he asked Clyde to help him with all of the wood baseboards and crown molding. Clyde graciously agreed. I just built another house in another state and I've yet to find anyone who can match Clyde's quality. Thank you Clyde!!

Clyde and his son were on time just as he said he would be.  Our floors are not the most level which I was a nervous about and I was nervous about how everything was going to all fit to size.  It took two and half days to have everything completed.  this was only because they had to leave early one day due to a snow storm coming through.  He and his son came back the next day and finished.  Once all of the cabinets were hung and installed, it was time to put the stove and refrigerator in.  To this day, I still cannot believe those appliances fit like a glove and everything was level and you would have never known that our house has uneven floors and not the most square walls.  Our cabinets are maple and we have them painted a bisque color with dark walnut handscrapped flooring.  Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and everyone that see's it loves it.  Clyde was so easy to work with and was very enjoyable to be around while he was working.  He was very clean and had every single tool that he needed.  If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

The design of my cabinetry was completely customized in every detail, and fit perfectly as planned in the spaces. This was done in 2005, but Clyde recently came out to talk to me about adding doors to the top shelves of my pantry so I could have more space to store rarely used appliances. His work is of the highest quality and the highlight of my home. Even better, he knows what he's doing and loves what he does - and it shows. I highly recommend Byler's Custom Woodwork.
