Woodworking
Started the job when we were not home and was told not to. Half way through the job asked for more money, $3800.00 or he would not continue. We refused to pay him more money above the contracted price and he quit. We found out later he had been in jail for two years for similar things in the neighboring county. The contractor we hired to finish the job found the work Gorley had done was done wrong and nearly all had to be redone. He took us to small claims court trying to collect more money from us; we counter filed and the judge awarded us $1900.00 which he has paid none of.
