We just had Marshall Carpet One install new floors for our entire first floor and part of our 2nd floor and our experience was great! We had both hard surface and carpet installed. They took the time to explain the difference between the various hard floor options. We selected samples to take home. After a few days of moving the samples from room to room, we selected samples that both my husband and I loved. We did have some questions about how best to manage some areas of our home. Marshall Carpet one had someone come to our home, listened to our concerns and provide us with options that best fit our lifestyle. Once the order was placed, Marshalls Carpet One scheduled both our installs (hard surface and carpet) in a timely manner that worked with our schedules. The installers Marshall Carpet sent to our home were a pleasure. They arrived on time, they were professional, and they did a great job. An unexpected challenge was discovered when our old kitchen floor was pulled up. The installer called the owner, and a resolution was quickly identified. It was clear Marshalls Carpet One was committed to making sure our install was flawless. Upon completion, both teams of installers walked through the house with us so we could review their work and address any concerns. Everything was perfect. Thank you Marshall Carpet One!

A terrific experience! Ryan and the Marshall team were a pleasure to work with. Huge showroom with a ton of selection. Affordable prices. Installation was quick and easy. We noticed a few areas that needed to be touched up after installation and they sent someone out that day. Would not hesitate to hire again. A+ experience.

We had a couple bathroom floors replaced and most of the carpeting in the house replaced. I have used them for years. They did the original flooring when we built. They are very helpful with making selections, very patient when you are there 25 times trying to choose something. The installers are just awesome. Their helping select and match things is awesome. The sales staff and one particular person I worked with was tremendous, and their kindliness, install, professionalism and the quality of their products. Their communication was excellent.

Bob the installer was phenominal. A real craftsman. I know my old house was tricky because nothing is flat or square but he worked with it. As soon as he came into the house, I felt confident. He didn't waste time and worked constantly. It took him two days, did the subfloor the first day and laid the vinyl the second day, and the floor is lovely. I look at it every day and really love it. The only issue I have with Marshall is the sales person. Great making the sale, but after I purchased the flooring I had a few questions. He wouldn't call back and I had to keep calling or get answers from someone else at the company. But, with the end result, I am very pleased and have recommended them to everyone.

They had a great selection of carpeting, hardwoods, and tiles. The sales lady was very nice, helpful and patient. The people who put in the carpeting did a wonderful job. They had to move a lot of heavy furniture.

We had a massive renovation done and had used this company through our builder. At the time we were extremely pleased with the price, professionalism and quality for tile, hardwoods and carpet. A year after the renovation we had an issue where an elderly, sick family member had urinated on the carpet in a very large volume. A professional cleaning did not help and the room smelled like a litter box. We went back to Marshalls. The owner actually helped us and out and the entire staff was was unbelievably kind. They were able to place an order for >1000 sq ft of carpet and have it rushed delivered (the rush was free of charge) right around the holidays. They installed it the day after Christmas. We will never use a different company.

Marshall Carpet makes the customer feel welcome the minute they walk in the door! They provided excellent direction in the selection of our bedroom carpet and bathroom tile for our entire upstairs, taking the time to look over all our decorating selections to make sure we would be satisfied with the final outcome. They were extremely accommodating with the installation date around our remodeling timeline and personal schedules. Their installers were very professional, working hard until the installation was complete, and did an excellent job. We love, love, love how everything turned out and highly recommend the Marshall Carpet experience!

I was facing an ordeal when another contractor botched the installation of carpet on the first level of my home.  The thoughtful, expert, and professional staff of Marshall Carpet One were able to replace all of the carpet on the first level and get it looking perfect.  The staff were respectful, kind, and punctual.  They were also able to repair poorly installed areas of carpet on the second floor, without necessitating a full replacement. 
Every person I dealt with at Marshall Carpet One was completely supportive throughout the process of coordinating the repair and reinstallation of my carpet.

After looking at several other flooring stores, I found Marshall to have the product I wanted at a competitive price with experienced installers.  Salewoman Kathy was helpful and very professional, answering multiple calls as i thought of more questions.  Communication was good throughout the process.    Appointments for estimate and installation were kept  promptly.  Installers were very accommodating and wanted to make sure I was happy with the job.  Installers cleaned up when done.  
The only thing that could be improved upon was having larger samples to take home.  I was able to make my decision because I got much larger samples from another flooring store that does not install.

Not impressed with how they communicated, once I made the purchase never heard from salesman again, although I had told him I planned to have the whole house carpeted and they measured it all. Was advised of installation time and when they were not here in that window, I contacted the company. The woman I spoke to was rude, and indicated that was why they did not like to give install times! They were still at an earlier job although no one called to share this. Got the impression their time was more valuable than mine. presently in the process of having the rest of the house done.

I paid for laminate floor installation by credit card and addressed my concerns to that company which sent me the excellent review of merchant services received from Angie’s List. Your review misleads customers. This is the reason for writing of my review. The credit card company letter stated, “The merchant provided detailed explanation, charge details, terms and conditions, which we have attached for your review. The support indicates that the warranty is void if flooring is subject to improper maintenance, improper cleaning methods and excessive moisture or structural alteration.” I have to say that a new installed floor buckled in few days after installation. It is necessary to underline that (1) during four days after floor installation we were not in the condo and no maintenance was needed, (2) the merchant team did not clean up the floor after laminate floor installation because, as it was explained, the merchant did not pay for cleaning a floor surface, and (3) moisture was almost the same during four days and it was no loads on the floor because no furniture was delivered into the condo. It means that merchant’s explanations have nothing to do with our case. I would like to bring your attention to the following facts. 1.       In the first day of floor installation, a technician pointed out the areas with traces of previous water leaks. It was absolutely necessary to replace these parts of a subfloor with new plywood, but the merchant team did not do that. It is a merchant mistake. Mr. Ken Levin, the General Manager, is responsible for merchant team work. 2.       Obviously, the merchant team had a low professional experience. The team incorrectly made opening in the laminate floor for entrances of hot air. I called to the store and Mr. K. Levin arrived in our condo. Mr. K. Levin told us that these mistakes would be corrected, but he misled us. Nothing was done. Therefore, Mr. Chuck Wien, the merchant President, gave us credit of $100.00. 3.        During floor installation in our condo, air conditioner was turned on to create better conditions for the merchant team, but not for the laminate floor because the merchant gave us no recommendations. If such recommendations had existed, they would have to be presented in a written form to us. It was never happened. 4.       On August 14. 2013, Mr. K. Levin arrived in our condo, made photos and measured the moisture content at the first floor.  He told me and my wife that high moisture on the floor should be the cause of the floor buckling. However, moisture measured on the floors in living and dining rooms was the same, and the laminate floor did not buckle in the dining room. Eventually, Mr. K. Levin told us that he did not know the cause of floor damage. 5.       On August 20, 2013, Mr. K. Levin arrived together with foreman Jan in the condo. Jan removed the new moldings between the floor and western and eastern walls and he found that the laminate floor pressed against the walls. Therefore, Jan had to remove the old moldings and that action provided gaps for the laminate floor enlargement, and as a result buckling disappeared.  The cause of damage became clear: the merchant team did not provide a proper gap around the laminate floor. Moisture has nothing to do with that. The laminate floor was installed non-professionally in our condo. Mr. K. Levin told Jan that it was necessary to lift up the old molding around the living room for a gap increase, but there was a problem because the old molding along the eastern wall continued above a tile floor in the hall. Regarding the second floor, Mr. K. Levin told us that the merchant will repair a laminate floor there in future?! 6.       On August 29, 2013, Jan reinstalled the old moldings at the same elevations (the molding along western wall was replaced with new one because the old molding was broken on August 20, 2013).  It means that there are no proper gaps between the laminate floor and old moldings and as the result floor buckling can happen at any time.  It is mockery of common sense and us. Mr. K. Levin did not inspect this repair work. 7.       The Mr. K. Levin’s letter underlined that 2 years merchant warranty does not mean anything. The merchant can stop its warranty any time as the merchant wants. It is a mockery of common sense and us as customers.
