We called advise the tech was a no show and to find out what time they planned to be at the property.
We were advised that they tried to schedule the morning appointment, but no one was available until the afternoon between 1 PM - 3 PM. Thanks for the call Terminix! Not!
We waited for the technician to arrive for the rescheduled appointment. We waited until 5 PM. The tech was a no show again. Thanks again for the phone call Terminix!
We called Terminix to find out what the problem was. The person on the other side of line said that the tech should have made the appointment; she had a real knack for the obvious; and gave us his phone number.
After the second attempt to reach the tech he answered the phone. He told us that yes, he had us in his appointment book, but we were out of his area and didnt know why they gave it to him. He said he called his Area Rep and told him to handle the issue and have someone else make the appointment. They didn't.
We then called Terminix to resolve the issue and find out when they planned to keep their appointment. After explaining the situation, the support person said she was going to talk to someone and asked us to hold, she would be right back. Wrong! We hung up after being on hold for 15 minutes.
So we called Terminix again, got a different support person, explained the situation again, and added the aggravation of being on hold for 15 minutes. She advised that she was going to transfer us to someone in scheduling, because I lost it when she told us the earliest they could reschedule the appointment was a week out, and to hold, again. Guess what happened? We hung up after being on hold for 15 minuted again!!
I would never use this company, even if they were the last exterminator on the planet and we were infested with bugs in Biblical proportions!!
that are too long and employees that have little information except to make appointments. The prices have also gone up from near $80 to over $100 for standard quarterly pest control. The last 3 times I have had a scheduled service, the service provider came outside of the scheduled time, and I left work to be at the scheduled time. There was no follow up from Terminix after the last missed appointment.
The next morning I called Ernie's again and asked the lady why they hadn't showed up. She checked and said I wasn't on her list of jobs that were to have been done on 8/29. I had given all the correct information to the company on 8/28 i.e. where we lived and best contact number. I was told that the lady who worked on 8/28 didn't always put the information on the system but maybe had given the info to Ken. I was told to call Ken. I tried and left a message but he didn't contact us or leave a message. (I feel the office person should have contacted him instead of telling me to do this.) So either the clerk didn't pass on the job or the exterminator didn't bother to let me know he wasn't coming,
All in all - this was a learning experience. After waiting for the exterminator to call or leave a message, I contacted Frame's on the afternoon of 8/30 and they arranged for an exterminator on come out on 9/3 between 11 am and 2 pm. What a difference on how they handled my call. Needless to say, I won't be calling Ernie's for service again. They may be a good exterminating company but their lack of customer service will keep me from contacting them again.
